By we, you mean the "fans" at Yost. Screaming vulgarities at opposing players doesn't make a teams' barn difficult to play in. Loud fans that support their team, the surroundings/environment they play at and the level of play the home team plays with make things difficult . When was the last time you heard a chant like that at Lambeau Field (home of the Packers)? Yet look at how difficult it was to play there for over a decade. I completely disagree that screaming vulgarities are what makes a fan. I think thats what makes individuals classless.

How would you feel if you had to cover your child's ears as you were heading down the escalator? I know I wouldn't have liked being in that situation with a little one. I'm all for fans getting into it, giving the other team (and their fans) a hard time, but screaming "f*** Ovechkin" in a place where kids are plentiful isn't appropriate regardless of the fact that you're at a competitive sporting event.

There's not much difference in class between "Ovechkin sucks!" and "F*ck Ovechkin". One isn't classy and the other is even less classy.

I think whats confusing people is you are making it sound like this current Wings squad is the best team to *ever* step foot on the ice, which simply isn't true. Now, they were the best team in the regular season as proved by their record, but they most certainly aren't the best all-around team of all time. Welcome to the boards.

Philly fans....no surprise. I remember back when the Vikings played the Eagles in the Playoffs. Some of their fans spat on the family of Daunte Culpepper. Now I hate the Vikes more than any other football team, but no one deserves to be treated like that. Absolute BS!

Couldn't agree more....and you can tell he's supporting Oz 100%. Is he disappointed with how things have worked out: Of Course. Is he being a man about it and supporting his team: Absolutely! I salute Dom and the way he's handling it, unlike a certain goalie that lost the SCF's last year, only to get benched, whined at every opportunity he got and became a locker room cancer. Sidenote: I certainly understand its Sharp's job to sell papers first and foremost, but I also have the right to disagree with what he's saying....everyone does.

This sentence alone has multiple meanings. If the Wings go on to win this series, I would assume Babs will ride Oz as far as they go in the playoffs, but he almost insinuates that Hasek will absolutely be needed again in this years run. Almost like a foregone conclusion that Oz will falter. Or, how about this gem:

They can't drop the puck until things are square. If either player has their stick out of position and "illegally" on the other players rightful position, they won't drop the puck. They don't just wait for no reason.

I agree that as a team they lost last night, but just like how Lilja was benched for Lebda due to his play the same goes for Hasek. No one is singling him out, but just like the defense needed a shake-up with Lebda due to Lilja's play, so does the goaltending. Edit: (Tori) Spelling

Fair enough! I'd still like to see Calgary pull off that Game 7 record breaking OT game. With the Wings' recent multi-goal give ups to Nashville, I fear what would happen against an offensive powerhouse like San Jose. That being said, their defense still sucks.

Go for it. I'm all about the team, not the individual. If Dom gives us the best chance to win, I'd much rather have him in than Ozzie. Right now, I feel Ozzie gives us a better chance to win than Dom. Simple as that, and hence my signature.
