I agree. I'm not one of those that bashes Sammy due to being realistic about his abilities, but he was an absolute joke Monday night. He was of no offensive threat, and anytime he had the chance to hit a guy, he decided it would be better to just rub shoulders with him. I counted atleast 4 times I caught him letting up on a check when he absolutely should've plowed through the guy. If he's doing neither, he needs to drop down.

I don't like this change one bit. I don't see what Lebda brings to the table that is so much greater than Lilja. At least Lilja can block shots on the PK. Lebda has been far from even decent down the home stretch. Edit: (Kelsey) Grammar

Its worth every dime and then some. It's so nice to be able to catch every single Wings game plus any other game I want. I know $150 can be a lot for some people, but its beyond worth it.

I don't care for that type of scheduling either. Actually, the Wings/Preds series is the only one of the eight that plays every other night continuing on through the "if necessary" games.

Uh....not really. A good amount of us (including me) buy NHL Center Ice every year. I don't get FSN Detroit, but I never miss a game.

I have the Sopcast software on my computer and I know I'm up to date with Codecs and Flash Player, but for some reason when I click on the feed for the game, it just never loads. Baffles me.....

I hope to god your right, but I just don't see it happening....and I'm from Green Bay, WI which is a hell of a lot closer to Detroit than New York or New Jersey. Here's hoping.

For some reason or another Sopcast doesn't work to well on my end. I'm not exactly sure why, as I've downloaded everything I need, but I still have troubles. That's why I was asking about the Yahoo! After a great deal of entering each of the 122 participants picks in to the spreadsheet I created (which does all the math), I wanted to make sure people know how to post their picks, because in the future this type of post won't fly. I'm more than happy to do this game and the work involved in it, but I'm not going to read through something like this, try my damndest to figure out what your picks are or how many games you think they'll win in. There isn't anything that annoys me more than their goal song. I hated it on Monday Night Football this year, and I can't stand it when the Preds score because the song flat out sucks.

That's really weird because I live in Green Bay, WI and it came through fine for me on Versus. I also have Center Ice, but obviously it wasn't listed for those channels due to Versus having the game, and I don't believe it was on our cable FSN (channel 40 in Green Bay) which plays Wild games from time-to-time. I'm almost as far from St. Paul as you are and they still consider that to be "local" over Chicago, which makes no sense since it is closer. Either way, when it comes to hockey FSN in the majority of Wisconsin pulls Wild games. Did you check your local FSN?

A fair "bump". I will say this, Kronner really needs to watch the way he levels people a little more closely. No one loves an unsuspecting hit to guy with his head down than me, but it must done cleanly. This isn't to say that a last second change in positioning doesn't happen which can result in a player getting hit differently, but if its a player that has the puck with his head down and doesn't change direction, there's no excuse for leaving your feet and delivering a high blow to the head. You can, and absolutely should run them over, but within the rules of the game.

I love when people start a "whining" thread about a certain players level of play from that days game, yet they fail to realize there's a GDT for that exact type of conversation.
