I'm surprised this is such a big deal to some people. I'm a purist too, but I also understand that Hockey is a business first and foremost, whether we like it or not and every league has their own version of the playoff logo on their ice/field/court/etc. at this point of their respective seasons. Keep in mind that if it weren't for merchandising things like the playoffs the league wouldn't make as much money, which puts them a step closer to having a lockout. I for one care about never disrupting a season again far more than a logo just insides the blue lines.

Apparently, "Rock Your Red" is the Devils playoff slogan. I don't think it matters what team your a fan of, you can bank on the fact that the "playoff slogan" is going to be lame as hell. Stupid need for merchandising.
