Seriously, this better be the most disciplined 18 minutes of the season. No reason to unnecessarily jump up on a play, and ensure your man is always in front of you. Make it to the end of regulation without giving up a goal and its as good as a win.

WOW! Very sharp from Dom!

C'mon gcom007......can't take a joke? Can't I lighten the mood?

That, or the dolphin teeth.

I know what he was referring to loo. I was stating in regards to regular season play by Leclaire. Whether he got passed over or not for a frivolous game that couldn't mean less doesn't bother me.

Wings PP

How quickly people forget Tkachuk.
-
Not at all. I'm referring the games that actually count, and Leclaire has been stellar against Detroit.
-
Leclaire's lateral movement is unbelievable. He's been pulling that sh*t all year on the Wings.

Great PK....practically zero pressure and even a couple SH opportunities.

PMS?

Ack, and a Wings PK upcoming.

:rotflmao: Did I call that or what?!?!
-
Yeah, the Wings have never been able to score a single goal with 32 minutes remaining in the game.

While some of you have been enjoying the NHL Network and its 24/7 hockey programming certain areas don't offer it in their cable packages. My local provieder is Time Warner and I pay for NHL Center Ice every year, have Versus included in my regular programming and needless to say get all the NBC games as well. That being said, as most of you know the NHLN has pulled games throughout the year from Center Ice which screws us subscribers out of something we've already paid in full for and blacks them out on the CI channel. The NHL Network is not availabe in my area otherwise I would have paid the additional amount a long time ago to get it added. My question is simple, after doing a little research (with no luck) I'm curious about the playoffs and the NHL Network. Will they be able to continue pulling games from Center Ice thus making us CI subscribers without the ability to watch the NHL Network get screwed out Wings playoff games? I know Versus pulls a huge chunk of these games, but CI still shows the remaining few games each night of the first two rounds and I'm extremely concerned about missing a Red Wings playoff game. Any info would be apprecaited....

Detroit would be the foreign exchange student.

Perhaps due to the variety of countries (7 total) represented on their team? Edit: The Wings are rocking 7 different countries as well, hence the foreign exchange student comparison. -

Peter Forsberg forgetting he's old and washed up.
NeverForgetMac25 replied to Jocu's topic in General
Exactly! I'm not about to compare either the Wings/Blackhawks or the Wings/Avalanche rivalry to the age old Wings/Leafs rivlary because its not a fair comparison as I wasn't around to be a part of it. -
Peter Forsberg forgetting he's old and washed up.

Don't misunderstand me....I'm not discrediting the Wings/Avs rivalry one bit. It was the most intense rivalry in sports from '97 through the '02 playoffs. What I am saying is that for those that were around to witness the Wings/Blackhawks rivalry, it was nothing to shy away from either and the Cheli-Wings rivalry was greater than the Forsberg-Wings rivalry. No matter how anyone feels the Wings/Blackhawks rivalry versus the Wings/Avalanche rivalry, my comment was simply in regard to Cheli being much more hated by Wings fans than Forsberg ever was or ever will be. -

Trust me, that was not what led to the bloodbath. It may have been the starting point of that fight, but it was going to happen that night regardless. A big hit, jocking for position on a face-off, a goal-mouth scramble all would've done the same thing. This isn't a discussion about what started the epic fight in '97, but Cheli was way more hated in Detroit than Forsberg ever was or will be.
