The Cheli-Detroit rivalry was much greater than the Forsberg-Detroit rivalry. Edit: Don't take this the wrong way but seeing as that your 19 years old, you probably weren't old enough to fully appreciate the rivalry the Wings had with the Blackhawks before the Wings/Avalanche rivalry. Obviously the Wings/Avalanche rivalry was heated but the Wings/Blackhawks rivalry certainly wasn't room-temperature either.

As it is, if the Wings make it past the first round I'd be willing to bet they'll meet up with Colorado given that the standings don't change drastically. Here's my 2 cents based on the current standings: Round 1 (1) Detroit beats (8) Nashville/Vancouver (2) San Jose beats (7) Calgary (6) Colorado beats (3) Minnesota (4) Anaheim beats (5) Dallas I absolutely see Colorado beating Minnesota in the playoffs given that matchup takes place. Also, there's a potential upset in the making given how well Dallas plays against Anaheim--probably wouldn't happen but I would think the Ducks wouldn't be too crazy about Dallas regardless of their current play. Round 2 (1) Detroit vs. (6) Colorado (2) San Jose vs. (4) Anaheim You heard it here first.

Personally, I really like these lines. You've got two viable top 2 lines that can put the puck in the net followed by a decent shut-down line. If Drapes was playing and presumably would be inserted in Hartigan's spot, that would be a phenomenal shut-down line, followed by a great checking line that would bang and keep pressure up before the top two lines get back on the ice. When I was in college I used to take the hinges off the doors of all my roommates' bedrooms. When they went to open the doors to their rooms the whole door would fall off. It scared the sh*t out of them and it was hilarious to see them jump.

I don't think so, and the Detroit/Chicago game from 12/23/05 confirms this. Dats scored with literally less than 0.1 seconds left in OT, and the goal was recorded at 4:59. You can't score at the 20:00 minute mark or the 5:00 mark of OT.

There's only a few people left in our office that still have a motion ball on the bottom of their mouse, so I put scotch tape over the ball of each and every one of them. It's beyond hilarious.....one guy is swearing at his mouse and ready to chuck it in to the wall. Another guy has rebooted his computer a handful of times to no avail.

Is it happy hour over their in MTL? BTW, its great to know that the Canadiens are the highest scoring team in the league because as we all know, scoring goes way up in the postseason and goaltending/team defense do not matter when it comes to winning a championship. Best of luck.....
