Are you joking about the DVR comment, because how would that affect what you watch? I can understand not having any more room to DVR programs, but that shouldn't affect what you watch.

Agreed....I get up at 5:45 every morning for work, and put in roughly a 50-55 hour work week. The joy of being salaried.

The San Jose PbP guys decided to show up for tonight's game as well. They blowing the Wings pretty hard right now.

Although it would have been nice to seem him play its just not worth it for a game that means nothing. That being said, I'm extremelly interested to see what kind of deal he signs this offseason.

QFT This will help but MLSE has other problems. It seems as long as their money continues to pour in they continue to neglect their team.

It'd be great to get off to a quick start in this game in order to balance off the TOI. The Wings will be playing 24 hours later against a hot Anaheim team and every bit of rest will help.

QFT This is meant with no ill-will toward you Hank, but I don't understand why people consider these types of games to have "everything". The goaltending was piss poor, and the defense was beyond shaky. Don't get me wrong, Ovechkin and Malkin were great, but it's not as if either goaltender or defense showed up for the game. To me, the SJ/DET game had the potential to be something, but then the penalty fest began, and it completely took away from the game. To me, a game that has everything is one in which both offenses create opportunities and get the puck up and down the ice, while at the same time a defense gets in front of shots and makes good decisions, all the while a goaltender makes spectacular saves, not to mention chippy play resulting in emotion. Honestly, I feel this game only had the first component of the four I listed.
