This is probably one of the only times where sitting higher up would be "better" seats. It would definitely be more advantageous in regards to seeing along the boards (as it is in every arena).

I can relate. I'm sure you can imagine how many people in Green Bay, WI care at all about hockey. Oh well, as long as I can go to local rinks and play every year, and Center Ice continues to be available....that's all I need.

I hope so bad they sign Ozzie to a 3 year extension. I don't think I've ever been as confident with him in net as I've been this season. He's showing no signs of slowing and only playing better each time he hits the ice. On top of that, he'd be a great mentor for Jimmy if he is in fact that Wings' future.

I always DVR every Red Wings game, and last night I went to record tonights game, and I noticed its not listed on the upcoming Center Ice schedule. The game isn't on Versus, and its not on FSN local (which would be if the Wings were playing at the Xcel). I also checked to see if it was supposed to be on NHL Network, which it isn't. As a result, the game should be listed on Center Ice. Can anyone with Center Ice check their schedule and see if they have it listed in their upcoming games for tonight? Does anyone have an explanation for me as to why its not listed? Can anyone confirm whether or not it will be on CI tonight? Thanks in advance.

There's absolutely no reason to not add to your lineup in case the unmentionable happens.

You just further proved my point. You can't guarantee anyone will stay healthy, and to waste $5 million in Cap space because you think we have everything is stupid. You'll end up being one injury away from catastrophe (ala Schneider).

Find a way to guarantee me that everyone on the current roster will stay healthy and then I'll hear you out.

And if two key defensive players go down after the deadline like last year, then what? There's a reason teams make deals, its to ensure they have the most sound roster on the ice. Bringing in a couple guys to ensure that players contribute and as injury insurance is never a bad idea unless they're a locker room cancer.

Nobody's gloating, but this guy was calling for the collapse of the Wings, stating that they weren't a top-10 team anymore and might not even make the playoffs. All the Wings have done since then is finish tied for the most points last season, come within 2 wins of the SCF's and started this season 28-7-3, while playing some of the best *team* hockey we've seen. What's funny is people that continue to write garbage like this whenever the Wings go on a few game losing streak only to look like idiots when they turn around and win 8 games straight immediately thereafter.
