Perfectly played. I don't read to much into things like this because when its about white people no one says a thing. I'm all for being PC, but I do feel a good amount of people pick and choose when to be hypersensitive. It doesn't bother me when the Vikings, Spartans and Trojans fans show enthusiasm, so I don't really find it offensive when Blackhawks, Indians or Redskins fans do the same. As long as it isn't done in a demeaning manor I don't see a problem with it.

Every time I see one of these threads it gets more and more ridiculous. Seriously, who cares. I was as pissed as anyone that the Wings lost to the Ducks in the WCF's, but posting a new thread every single time they lose is getting redundant and not to mention pointless (no pun intended).

Burke isn't making as much money as Holland and he's pissed about it. He wants to trade salaries with him.

Well, I'm glad I missed the final 8 minutes of the third period, but I'm pretty pissed I didn't get to see the game. That was the first time in 3 years I wasn't able to watch a Wings game. Thanks Time Warner. Anyway, I caught the highlights and those SO goals were great. It was so nice to see Dats go back to the deke after keeping the last two SO goalies honest. Zets freeze was even better. The second Z pulled the puck back Mason was screwed.

Don't get me wrong, it absolutely kills me to say that, but Crosby just turned 20 while Z will be 27 on Friday. If Z was the same age as Crosby, I wouldn't make the swap simply given that Z is the more natural scorer and we already have Dats locked up. See my above post.

I wouldn't trade Zetterberg for anyone other than Crosby himself.

Alright, the Time Warner guy just called me back and said that TW only offers the NHL Network in areas that offer sports tiers. Since neither Green Bay nor Milwaukee is one of those areas we don't get NHL network. He then said that Milwaukee will be adding sports tiers at the beginning of 2008 and then Green Bay should follow as a result (probably around February-March). Unfortunately, that means I'm/we're screwed until that happens. I then politely asked him about a discount to center ice since I subscribed to that service with the understanding that I would be able to watch all the Red Wings games. He was kind of enough to give me free hardware for the next 12 months. What that means is that I will get $8 taken off my bill every month for the next year. Granted I'd rather have all the NHL games, but if I can't get that, atleast this years Center Ice will only cost me $54 after all this is said and done.

The TW guy just told me that Milwaukee is in the process of getting it. He said when that happens Green Bay should get it too. He also said he'd call me in the next couple days with more info. Looks like I'm stuck watching the sopcast feed. This sucks.

Up to the second update: I'm on hold and the TW guy is checking further. As of right now, Green Bay, WI doesn't have the NHL Network, and he has very little info.

That's exactly what I was afraid of. I'm calling Time Warner right now to see whats the deal with the NHL Network. I've been meaning to call them the past few weeks.

Every single Detroit home game is broadcasted to Center Ice subscribers on FSN. So yes, the game should be on, but its never before not been listed in the days upcoming games. Therein lies my concern.

Does anyone in America with Center Ice have any explanations for this?

Ok, well regardless, in America the game isn't listed on Center Ice. That's the concern.

Sidenote: I agree with those that feel Schneids' comments were made more as a joke.

Gofigure.......Babs not calling upon a defenseman in a Shootout. Who would've thought? There are/were better options ahead of him for a SO, and thats why Babs never called upon him.
