You're not the odd ball. I never wear a hockey jersey unless I'm actually playing hockey. I'm not the jersey wearing type, but I wear Wings T-shirts and Hooded Sweatshirts. And you know what, I kind of said that wrong myself. I didn't mean to use the word rectified. What I was going for was that I've never seen people attempt to roll up the sleeves of a hockey jersey before. To me, that would look akward.

This isn't a comment at all about my liking the new jerseys or not, but its funny that you comment on the big baggy jersey looking weird, but would be somewhat rectified if you could only roll up the sleeves. Excuse me, but that was one big goddamn mistake to make at that point in the season. There's no reason to talk about this now, but I don't see how you can blame anyone here for being upset with Lilja over that mulligan he pulled. We might have won the cup if not for that play. Sports history is laden with screwups like Lilja that will always be remembered for one idiotic mistake that they made in a big moment. We can't just pretend on this forum that it never happened. It was more prominent because it was the last one, but Franzen's failure to clear the puck in the waning moments of regulation was the bigger and more important mistake. Without that one we win. Lilly's mistake not happening doesn't mean we win. We just don't lose on that play. No, No, No NN.........it had to be Lilja's mistake that cost the Wings the Cup last year. Nevermind the fact that Franzen's failed clearing attempt was a more severe mistake. Since Lilja's mistake resulted in a goal within 2 seconds of it happening, it has to be his fault that the Wings lost. GMR, the big picture here is not Lilja's *OT* mistake.

Hasek shouldn't start the game anyway. I'm all for Hasek getting more rest than he did last season. Babs even said he started Dom more than he wanted to, but had no other alternative with Ozzie going out for as long as he did. A healthy Dom in the playoffs is my number one concern, not him playing a 3/4 share of the regular season games.

Yeah, but we all saw what happened to Stastny as well. The guy was on pace for 246 goals after the first game and now he's only on pace for 109 goals. Gofigure

Anyone that feels Lidstrom's lack of physicality dooms the Wings come playoff time doesn't know the first thing about this game. Sidenote: D*mn its a good thing the Wings won those cups in '97, '98 and '02 before Lidstrom got on the Wings. Otherwise the Wings wouldn't have been able to "overcome" Lids' lack of physicallity. Wait a minute............

Aside from LGW, I frequently read TSN.ca, Freep and Detnews. I don't even waste my time with ESPN or NHL.com.
