Eerily familiar to the 97 Cup run. The Wings were favored for many years heading into the playoffs, and failed once the time came to step up. In 97, no one was picking them, and they went on to win it all. Here's hoping the same thing happens! You SOB. We even posted at the exact same time! -
I agree. If some of you think this is the Flames biggest advantage, you are overlooking them big time. Here's hoping the Wings don't, and put them down in 5 anyway.

I'm all for the Wings winning the cup, but I wish I was as optimistic as you. Here's hoping you're right. If the Wings get past the first two rounds, I'll be 100% with you.

I hear what you're saying, but even if this series does go to 6 games, what if the Wings win game 5 in dramatic fashion? Having to play right away the next day might give the Flames a mental setback. You could look at this either way. Here's hoping the Wings win it in 5. Edit: Grammar
