^ Edicius beat me too!

Oz gets the nod tomorrow and a week to rest for Dom. He'll be fine come game 1.
-
I agree that Dats is becoming a very complete player, but I just don't see him as the all-around player that Z is at this point. The above statement is in no way a knock against Dats.
-
Just getting up now? D*mn, that would be nice. Edit: Spelling
-
QFT While Dats has done a considerably better job this season on defense than last, Hank has him beat.

No I don't think that had anything to do with it. Bert will be fine. If he doesn't play in the Season finale it'll just be as a precaution. He'll be ready for Game 1.

For Hull:

QFT, and the way Hank has played he'll deserve every penny of it. That being said, perhaps the extension is just 2 years. In which case, both Hank and Dat's contracts will be up at the same time. Here's hoping the Wings got him for $5.5 - $6

Still waiiting for the details.........

WOW..........Details ASAP please!

I get your smiley face, but playoff OT is nothing like regular season OT. There's no comparison between 5-on-5, 20 minute periods until someone scores, and a 4-on-4, 5 minute OT with a guaranteed SO if no one scores. 3-8 in regular season OT's seem pretty irrelevant to me when you compare it to the playoffs. Experience plays just as big of a factor as age does at that point.

On the flipside: All Calgary has to do is lose one game at home, and its Detroit in 5, based on your logic. Its funny how people give the Wings opponent the benefit of the doubt for winning all their home games, but not when it comes to Detroit.
-
Yeah, if its one thing the Wings have been for the past 15 years, its a one-man team. :nonono: Get a clue.
-
The Devils will be resting come Sunday, which could open the door for the Isles. They already have the two seed locked up, so they have no reason to risk injury.
-
I just don't see Babs playing Dom tomorrow. The way he's been talking to the media about how comfortable he feels with the Wings situation (and Dom not needing to play tomorrow), I see Oz getting the nod again. BTW, I am all for Oz closing out the regular season. It's just one more game he could get in, to be prepared for the playoffs if need be.
-
or NYI. The Isles have a game in hand, and play the Flyers and a resting Devils team to close out their season. If Toronto wins in regulation it still may not be enough.
-
Thanks for posting that Loo. Cheapskate Dom, takes the team to McDonalds. He's probably waiting to get his playoff bonus before he springs for TGIFridays.
-
If the Wings are "very close" to locking Dats up, and they get it done before the playoffs start, he'll be the most analyzed Wing starting April 11th. If they do sign him before the playoffs, here's hoping he actually explodes, and the Wings have saved themselves some cash for next season. Dats is a UFA after this season. The Wings organization would have nothing to do with "moving" Dats. If anyone was moving him, it would be his agent carrying his bags, with no strings attached to the Wings.

That would be awesome! A one game playoff for who gets the eight seed. What would make it even more interesting is that the Avalanche could possibly pull a Mighty Ducks (the movie) and pull their goalie in the third if they're tied. If the Flames lose in regulation tomorrow, the Avs need the regulation win to move on. Scratch that. It would only be necessary if Colorado were to lose in OT/SO tomorrow. I agree that I don't care if we get the Avs or Flames, but even though the rivalry is dead, it sure would be funny to see the Colorado blow it on the last day of the season after all this work! D*mn I'm mean!
-
Not when its a simple solution.
-
I don't see the Avs cracking the 8 seed, but if they do it will be one hell of an accomplishment. FYI: They are 14-1-2 since February 27th, which means they've earned 30 of a possible 34 points in that span. Imagine if they had turned it on just two weeks earlier. I'm glad they didn't!

My gut says Sens win it in 6...........nonetheless this should be a fast-paced series, that will be uber-exciting to watch. Edit: Grammar

Good for you Legionnaire. I totally understand where you're coming from, and let me give you a little piece of encouragement. Up until my Spring semester of my Senior year of college, my matabolism hadn't slowed one bit. When it finally did that semester I went from 190 pounds to 215 pounds (FYI: I'm 6'1"), and felt horrible about myself. I wasn't huge, but I didn't look the way I had since I was young, and it really bothered me. Almost exactly 2 years ago, I was 3 months away from getting married myself, and decided that I was going to make the change. I started rarely touching beer during the weekdays (Friday-Sunday beer was fair game ), eating better, and I ran a mile 4-5 out of 7 days each week. My goal was to get around the 190 mark on the day of my wedding. About 1 week before my big day hit, I weighed 188, and I've never gone above 200 since. Currently I weight 191. My advice keep doing what your doing, and keep posting updates. The more you remind yourself, the better you'll look and feel come Wedding time. Sidenote: One thing I did to help remind myself of the progress I was making was I took a picture (with my camera phone) of the scale when I weighed myself. Whenever I flipped open my phone, BAM there was my current weight, and it was a great motivator. Best of luck Legionnaire, and keep up the hard work.
