To me, that line seems like overkill. I wouldn't put Bert on a line with Homer, but he and Dats should be a great fit. That being said, Calder-Lang-Bert sounds awesome to me. My ideal lines when everyone's healthy: Dats-Z-Homer Bert-Lang-Calder Cleary-Hudler-Filppula Maltby-Draper-Franzen HS: Samuelsson

I'm just stating that if the Wings did match up against the Flames in the first round, our players would be pretty battered if they moved on. Calgary isn't as physical as they used to be, but they are still much tougher than Colorado, and they have a better playoff goalie.

Until Z gets back, Hudler isn't going anywhere, and if Sammy continues to play the way he has, look for him to get benched rather than Hudler.

If I owned a hockey club, I would obviously be loaded, so I would genetically clone Zetterberg 15 more times, and Lidstrom 8 times (taking into account for injury). Stanley would be ours for many years to come.

Bert's first game in a Wings jersey. Wings get back on track and win it handily. Red Wings 5-1. A fight in his first game back since October? Me thinks not.

I would assume Bert will get 3rd or 4th line minutes tomorrow night, so he doesn't overdue it. Besides, Hudler has been playing great with Lang as of late. Homer-Dats-Flip Calder-Lang-Hudler Bert-Franzen-Sammy Malts-Drapes-Cleary
