Unfortunately, its not always as simple as that. There are a lot of other factors that contribute to whether a player gets benched than the two things you listed. Edit: Spelling

Agreed, with Calder and Bert added to the lineup, and Hudler playing great, and Filppula's solid play all season, there isn't any room for Kopecky this season........unless Babs wants to bench Sammy! Even still, one more player would have to be benched for Kopecky to get back in the lineup.

Sidenote: I love when one of the other players says, "Not only am I winning, but my groin has never felt better."

I'm not disappointed in Samuelsson (or Williams for that matter) at all this season, because I knew they wouldn't amount to the hype they received after last season. Those two really scared me when I saw their contracts renewed, because I saw them as a flash-in-the-pan last year.

Yes they could have (and maybe should have) atleast announced something on the PA, but Nashville owes Dallas nothing. Plain and simple. That being said, the point of promoting the sport in America is more than valid.

This stuff happens....its when its malicious that it gets reviewed and action takes place.

It totally depends on the postseason run. Let'ls say the Wings get eliminated, and Dom still feels up to play. I'd definitely re-sign him. If the Wings win the cup, Dom will probably retire because of it being the ideal way of going out. In that case, a lot of possibilities present themselves.

I want Dats to re-sign, but at this point $6.85 is too high......especially with Lids making $7.8 (which by the way, he deserves every penny of). I would be more than willing to sign Dats long term for $5 mil, and even $5.5-$5.9 if he performs stongly in the playoffs since the cap is rumored to be around $47-$48 mil. Edit: Spelling

Hello from Sunny Florida! Now that Shelly and I are done with Disney World (and in Daytona Beach) I have some time to watch the Wings tonight and the 17th. Anyway, I searched the forums, and an error page keeps coming up, so I'm enlisting LGW for some help. Since I'm away from home I obviously don't have Center Ice, but I remember people watching some of the games online. I want to say it was a Yahoo page, but I'm not sure. Hey Everyone I'm having a little trouble with Sopcast this period, so I'm listening to the game on NHL.com Radio. Sounds like things are going pretty well.

Sorry for sounding dumb, but I just downloaded sopcast, and its asking me for my address. Am I correct in assuming they are looking for my IP address? Sidenote: Where do I go to find the link in Sopcast that connects to the Wings game tonight?
