I would've been like, "Sorry Feds......Lamborghini? I have no idea what you're talking about?"

The way Malkin is playing right now, you're not too crazy. That being said, I'd still go for Ovechkin. 15 points in 12 games for Malkin 21 points in 17 games for Ovechkin Pretty much a horse-a-piece

It's not about the hot streak, rather its about how the Wings are winning. The way the Defense is destroying the opposition, and the solid 5-on-5 play, the Wings are very scary right now. Look at how poorly the Wings PP is going right now. Imagine when the Wings get that rolling, and then add a scoring Winger (possibly 2 depending on cap room) at the deadline. They're a solid team, and they are starting to truly buy into Babs' system. All that put together, and we look very tough once the playoffs roll around.

While Stevie Y was my favorite player since I got into hockey, I knew that once he retired my favorite Wings would be Z. Obviously Mac is still very important to me as well.

I was just going to pose that question. Is Matt no longer doing desktops?

2006 World Series: Tigers & Cardinals
NeverForgetMac25 replied to BlakChamber's topic in Other Sports
^ Cool, glad to hear then BRTD. See, the thing I don't like is the gray area. Sure it may add color to the game, but it almost gets to the point of where do you draw the line? That's what could be up for debate. Edit: Spelling -
2006 World Series: Tigers & Cardinals

And don't misunderstand what I'm saying BC. I agree that the Cards, as well as any other team in the league do the same thing. Everyone uses pine tar and other forms. The point of what I'm making is, its all of a sudden a big deal when its in the World Series, which is BS in my opinion. It's no different in the regular season, but now the media is blowing it up. Maybe the media is just reaching. The point of what I'm saying is that even though everyone does it, the opposing fans will get mad if the other team is caught in the act. -
2006 World Series: Tigers & Cardinals

And I agree with this. I feel since it was dealt with, it should die now. All I was saying Vladdy, is that its a lot easier to deal with when the team you're cheering for ends up on the winning end of things. -
2006 World Series: Tigers & Cardinals

Sorry captain, but I've got to disagree with you. I'm not a huge baseball fan, but I do cheer for the Brewers. That being said, I am cheering for the Tigers to win the Series because I can't stand the Cardinals. However, you can't honestly tell me that if the situation was reversed, and it was a Cardinals pitcher that greased his thumb, that you would have responded with the above post. My guess here, is that all the Tiger fans would be calling for his head. ...........especially if the Cards had gone up 2 games. -
Unreal.........I looked again.

LGW.com Red Wings PM's and how to Rank them

No doubt that's imporant and there are times of the game where a penalty is needed, but the majority of them don't help the team, and that's what I was getting at. -

Detroit Lions, NFL 2006 Season Thread
NeverForgetMac25 replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in Other Sports
Ok, but I still disagree with you here. Hasek, just one season ago was the front runner for the Vezina before he was injured. Put Favre on a team with a talented offense and you'd see the same Favre you saw 5 years ago. What's incredible about Favre is the level he's able to play at even with no one around him. Hasek can't say that. -

Than we'll have to agree to disagree, because I don't think you know what you're talking about. -

Than why did you throw Favre in your initial post? That's the main reason I was upset with what you said (throwing Favre in the mix). You're contradicting yourself. -

I understand why people don't think Favre currently is what he used to be but there's a reason for that. You can put Peyton Manning on the Packers, and it isn't going to make a difference at all. The Packers won't win any more or any less just because Manning is their starting quarterback. The point is, the Packers were not a good team last year or this year for that matter. Favre has absolutely no targets (aside from Driver, who is doubled teamed every time he's on the field), and thus has to try and make things happen, and take a few more chances. You put him on the Colts, and you'd be singing a different tune. -
Not that I like the Tigers, but I hate the Yankees. It's so much fun watching them lose. I'm glad the Tigers won, and I hope they pull out the series. Edit: Spelling
