I hate to say it, but it is the right thing to do. There is no sense in him risking his life. He will always hold a place with the Wings, and I wish him nothing but the most full life! We're still thinking about you Jiri! Cheers.

Any of our goalies would allow this team to atleast "make" the playoffs. The trick is, which one is going to get us where we want to end up in June?

It's tough since we all thought Dats was going to sign his two year deal and then check out Free Agency. After he signed, he said he wanted to be a Wing for life. I'm not sure which to believe. What I think we should do, is try to sign him mid season next year. If we can come up with an agreement, maybe trading him before the deadline wouldn't be a bad idea. This way, we atleast get a d*mn good player/players for him, without losing him outright.

Let's hope Datsyuk turns out to be a franchise player! His contract is up at the end of next season, and if he keeps it up he'll want a lot more than $3.9 million.

With all the debate, someone made a comment that we should start a poll. Here it is:

There is rumors about one of the two goalies getting dealt, bringing up Howard, and signing a solid D man........blah, blah, blah.....blah, blah. We are not going to deal Legace. I see Ozzie getting dealt before that happens, but we will keep both. However, as stated earlier we could afford another D man right now, without hurting the cap too much.
