As long as McCreary is officiating, the reffing will be fine. The best part about him and O'Hallaran reffing is it won't be a penalty-filled game. The majority will be 5-on-5 play. Nothing to be concerned about, officiating-wise.

I never said there was. Just simply that it was the least of Finland's problems. Officiating is rarely "great" but more often than not it doesn't change the outcome of a game. It certainly didn't this afternoon. That was my point, nothing more.

Officiating hasn't been great, but that's the least of Finland's problems today. Take away one of USA's 2 PP goals and they still dominated from the moment the puck dropped.

What they did to Russia was flat-out incredible. I don't know if Canada is just 100% focused and hungrier than ever or if Russia just didn't come to play, but I will say that any American fan (myself being one of them) that isn't scared to face them should we meet again is kidding themselves. Not only did they beat the team they were expected to play for the gold, they flat-out embarrassed them. As much as I'd love America to win the Gold and even though the US has already beat Canada in these Olympics, that performance truly reiterated that its Canada's Gold to lose.

They won the game, but they hardly dominated hit. That being said, Miller dominated the game.

Is that NHL rules, or IIHF? Either way, that's the dumbest rule in the world. It should be based on severity. Throwing the puck out of play after a goal isn't called shouldn't result in a team going to the box.
