It's funny that you mention this because that's exactly how I've described this series to my wife and my brother. The Ducks are the stereotypical bad-guy wearing the dark colored jerseys. Not to mention their size advantage.....this is the stuff movies are made of and I need good to prevail. Fortunately for Wings fans, these Ducks are on the other side of the spectrum than their Disney counterparts.

If that were the case, he'd be scoring clutch playoff goals when the Wings needed them the most. He's definitely over-thinking things out there. The only cure is for him to find the back of the net, and lets hope thats tomorrow.

What's worse is mid-fight he reached back and made sure his helmet (fully visor-equipped) was on tight. Pretty pathetic after he's the one that dished out that massive cheapshot. What I wouldn't give for this to be the fuel Dats needed to break out tomorrow night.

This would've been a more effective way of saying it. Perhaps I jumped the gun a shade early.

The validity of some of the OP's points doesn't mean the thread should be closed. He simply posed what he wanted Kenny to do next year. If you don't want to participate don't bother. That being said, everyone makes mistakes in regards to understanding the rules, the cap, or the Wings' system from time to time. Doesn't mean the OP deserves to be trashed for it. If you don't care about the topic, don't post in it. Why? The OP wasn't breaking any rules or even discussing whether or not the Wings would move on or be eliminated in this current round. Why would it be removed? This has nothing to do with what the OP was talking about.

Cue OsGod to complain about "Mr. Moneybags". IMHO, he's the best owner in all of professional sports. Not only does he pay whatever it takes to make his franchise successful, the guy takes care of every single one of his "employees" like they're family. Point-and-case: Getting one of the Wings' trainers' sons into that private school.

I remember reading it was because the old ownership hired him, not the current one. Couple that with the poor start, and Lawton had his scapegoat in place.

And they're breathing fine once again. I don't know whats going on with tonight's games, but every shot seems to have the potential to find the back of the net. Not a comforting feeling this deep in a series for any of the 4 teams playing tonight.

I'm fairly confident those posts were made with the intent of the wanting the Ducks to be more physical and not allow the Wings to get to the net. Most Ducks fans know they don't have the talent to match up against this Wings team. If they're gonna have a chance, they're going to have to keep the Wings away from Hiller.

While I'm not defending turing the game into a street-fight, whoever wrote that makes a point. The past few games the Wings have had no problem getting to the net....something that was a massive challenge the first 3 games. They've now invaded Hiller's turf and guys like Pronger aren't doing what they need to do for the Ducks to be successful. Clearing the crease, controlling the front of it, and getting rid of rebounds is what made the Ducks successful earlier in this series. If they aren't able to do that in Game 6, the Wings should win barring bad bounces or poor officiating.

The Black Aces are the kids the Wings called up from Grand Rapids (I.E. Leino, Abdelkader, etc.) once their season came to an end. Leino and the rest of the call-ups that didn't make the game roster watch from the locker room or the pressbox on the road. The cap doesn't exist once the playoffs begin.
