No Howard doesn't get breaks because we go from 3-1 to 5-4 and lose in a shootout. Howard wont get a break because we have lost 8 out of the 10 shootouts we have been in with him. Not saying he isn't a good goalie, he is but for people to get all mad because we get on him because of those reasons is a bit silly. If it were just here and there it would be one thing but its a trend with him especially in the shootouts, let's be honest here.

Just think if we could shore up a D a bit better weather it be just playing better or picking up someone at the trade deadline. The wings could be lights out. Never would of thought that at the start of the season. I have to eat some crow for sure.

Who really could of guessed we would be where we are now before the season started? Pleasantly surprised.

Well and to add to that most teams I'm sure if that make it to OT with us would be leaning more towards trying to make it to a shootout with us rather than try to give up anything in the OT. So teams will play more defensively in OT than trying to REALLY score. Not that they wont try and all but you know they think about that. "Why try hard in OT when it would be a 50/50 shot to win, when we can take it to a shootout and have more like a 90/10 chance to win"

I'm not one to think he can;t handle the #1 spot...I just think he needs a pure stay at home defender so that it will free him up a bit more to get back to his game...Not that what we are seeing is not his game but I would LURV to see some big kronwallings again.

I'm still trying to figure out why you call anyone out who is for fighting like its your goal in life to take in down. Fighting is part of hockey whether you want to admit it or not and I hope it never goes away. It seems like its really personal or something.
