More than I can say about Emmerton for sure. Out of the 3 Miller is the only one that comes sort of close to Tootoo.

So you would stick Tootoo on the 4th line and only pay him 900k. Where would you put Miller,Emmerton and Eaves and how much would you pay each. Because in my eyes and I'm sure many more see Tootoo as bringing really more than any of these players and is getting paid accordingly.

tootoo has one heck of a wrist shot and he is one of if not the hardest worker on the ice when he is on the ice. He also has the heart of a lion. i would much rather give tootoo that then someone like eaves who is a dime a dozen.

There is no way 1.9mil for what tootoo brings is over payment. He just needs to be used.

this would be all well and good but don't you think if this was remotely trued he would of signed already? His agent screwed him making him think he was worth anywhere near 4mil a season. there is no one thats going to pay him that kind of money for a half of an nhl season that could very well of been a fluke like brunnstrom hence the reason i bet he hasn't been signed already.

I always felt if toots was put on a scoring line he would thrive.

you thought tootoo was signed on to be our scorer for the playoffs? He was signed for the grit and toughness and thats what he brings every game. for the life of me of don't get why come game 5 in the hawks series babs didn't put him in after shaw and those goons did what they did to the wings. tootoo is nothing but heart.

tootoo was not a bad signing at all. i would love to see why so many think so. specially going to the east now.

Yeah this was probably the plan that he and his agent had all along to try and get some kind of base/starting point for them to ultimately to sign with Detroit.

Same people crying like always. I like it. It;s only for 1 year for a player that can still score and as we have seen in the past older player seem to thrive with the wings org. Can't wait to see him play with Dats and Z.

Yeah I think most are really focusing too much on his age and not his stats even at 40. And we know it won't be more than 2 years...I think it will be a pretty good signing if true.

The color is not too bad but I love the older darker ones. Not a real fan of lighter green. But that damn D and the starbuck shoulder logos just suck!!

I have to agree here. I don't see them picking up someone like that at all. Look for lilja or something like that coming. thats about it.
