There is no way they could ever make it a penalty. The opposing teams fans would be throwing them every shift. It would get way out of hand. It's not a problem now so they aren't addressing it.

I would've loved to hear what Keith was talking to Sobotka about when he picked up the first Octopus to swing it at the start of the game.

I agree with this to a point but when you are saying "hockeytown is dead we never get any calls blah blah blah" then maybe if you did cater to the fans a bit and not always be assholes then maybe the show would be a bit better. Not saying there is anything wrong with being a realist but if you are going to be in sports talk radio and be affiliated with a specific team then don't start crying when you don't get many calls into your show for said sport/team. A lot of fans need that feel good ra ra talk sometimes and not the Wings are back to being the deadwings talk.

I am one of if not the biggest proponent of Tootoo on this site and to me the way we have shown that we are tough and that we can take hits and dish them out I don't see the need in putting Toots in there just yet. Although I do want stupid Bickell and Shaw to eat a fist. They need to be Kronwalled or Tooted™ This is coming from someone who thinks tootoo should be on a scoring line and not shoved on the last line.

Yeah but again...when you see someone come in that has no pro experience like Danny D play better than Smith who has had a lot of pro experience on the griffs and now on the wings I can understand the people who are upset with smith.

I agree with both sides on this one to a point. The hard thing to me is knowing all the talk about Smith being the next awesome D-man and all the time he spent in GR growing and the time on the wings then you see someone like Danny D come in with no GR experience right out of college look head and shoulders above Smith at times it is frustrating. But I do agree we have to keep Smith out there and let his game grow. The potential is there for sure you can see it. Now everyone stop for a sec and just think about how our team is going to look a season or 2 down the road........WOW. I'm so excited.

Give me a break. What about 2 games in a row now Maid Marian has done his perfect impression of Greg Louganis not getting called. Don't you think that makes up for the non calls? You know how many times Abby,Cleary and company get cross checked in front of crawford I seen not get called. The high cross check to the neck that didn't get called In the first game that should of had Chicago in the box again...If anything both teams have gotten help pretty much equally.
