*holding you back* easy big fella yeah and with malts...the wings have been faithful for a long time with him. there comes a point where the player starts hurting the team and their style of play that they are wanting to put out on the ice. and its hard to let them go but you have to do it. if not we wouldn't be a good team at all. and there is no way you can compair the 2 players in modano and malts. 2 totally different players. its a sport for petes sak. its not like we are kicking your wife to the curb to have a go at the next door neighbor who happened to be miss july of 1987. the marriage=the redwings, your wife= malts, and the next door neighbor = modano. just to get that straight so no one thinks im talking about anyones wife or anything. hahaha.

ROUND AND ROUND why not just trust Holland and stop making it sound like after all these years all of a sudden he doesn't know what he's doing. I'm sure ultimately he will not screw up the chance to sign Helm and Abby to long term deals. Even if they take a year this year and sign the big one next. They know what they are doing guys more so then any of us.

yeah but if you look at the charts and compare to 100 other stadiums that had little to no bad write ups than it just makes the detroit arenas that much more worse.

wow did you look at all his other stats and not just a stat that depends on the team around him? Some people remind me so much of the project managers and data analyst here at dell. they only pull data that somewhat supports the crap they are trying to say and they leave out everything else. never really looks at the whole picture.

yeah its good to call us names because 95% of hockey fans don't agree with you. that works.you may have watched the games but check out his stats for the past 5 years. now add those to a team like detroit....or do YOU not know how to read stats? maybe you should go outside and get some fresh air cause it seems you have been inside to long.

have you watched the wings in the past 10 years?? have you really seen them really screw up any signings? This is a signing just like with drake and everyone on the team knows that. Thats how you need to look at this really. It;s not like we need alot anyways....added modano would just make an already great team that much better and you can bet the holland and the boys wont let a 1-2 year deal screw this team up. far from it? did you really watch him in the past few years? i wouldn't say he's FAR from it.last 5 seasons he has avg over 20 goals 30 assists....thats on a dallas team thats not at our lvl really to be honest...now put that on a team like the wings that is all about the great passing that modano brings and there is no telling what he gets. and remember how he was played on dallas the last few years.
