THE GLOBE AND MAIL: Eric Duhatschek reports Malkin's agent JP Barry claims his client has no interest in returning to Russia to play and is focused instead on re-signing with the Pittsburgh Penguins despite the possibility of earning considerably more in Russia. Duhatschek also reports the new Russian league stands a better chance to sign Jaromir Jagr, who's believed interested but could opt to re-sign with the NY Rangers for less money for personal reasons. -
