Don't like them.

I haven't been on here too much, so don't know if there's already a topic of this nature. I looked on page 1, and surprisingly didn't see anything, or at least I think. Nonetheless, who do you think is our round 1 MVP? I might say Kronwall. He hasn't averaged as much ice time as the other 2 top defensemen, but he's been a force. A highlight reel hit virtually every game, along with spending some time on the scoresheet. I'd say Kronner. Datsyuk, maybe, but I guess me saying Kronner might have been for the sole purpose of not going with the crowd, but he has been nuts.

I'm reading this forum, and it's so redundant. Old guys on our team, yadda yadda yadda. Hasek isn't even playing, and Chelios has more energy than 75% of the NHL, so spare me. Oh, and they even went far enough to consider Pavel Datsyuk a "playoff choke artist"... Uhh, 2004 called, they want your joke back.

Getting Kolzig would be the most pointless deal ever, Howard will probably be better than Kolzig next year. Howard/Osgood tandem will be fine, pending on Hasek's decision of course. I think Kolzig would just retire, he would not be able to earn a starting role on any NHL team, and even if he did, he will never win the cup as a starter at this point in his career. He should just retire, he has a Vezina under his belt, and even earned it when Hasek, Brodeur, and Roy were in their better years... Not alot of tenders can say that.

Agreed. All NHL MVP is either Briere, Fleury, or Crosby. I don't know if playing 4 games should get you too much recognition, but Crosby averaged 2 points per game, and Fleury tore it up in net.

I'd do Abdelkader for Datsyuk, Helm for Zetterbeg, and Ericsson for Lidstrom... Who wouldn't?

Kirill Kabanov... Anybody ever hear of this guy? A 16 year old Russian expected to be drafted first overall in the next OHL draft by the Sudbury Wolves. They say he should be on the same level on Ovechkin and Malkin, and is eligible for the 2010 NHL draft. http://www.northernlife.ca/News/Columns/Ar...-08-hoclkey.asp I'm just saying, keep an eye out for this guy. One of my biggest interests is the future of the NHL, and Kabanov is expected to be a superstar. Anybody ever hear of him, and have some details?

I'm pretty sure this board is filled with threads praising Datsyuk, Zetterberg, and Lidstrom. I'm pretty sure 100% of this board realizes how amazing Datsyuk, Zetterberg, and Lidstrom are and realize that they are all arguably amongst the top 10 players in the NHL. I open every thread, and at least one post in the thread is a post praising one of the three phenoms and rightfully so... We know how good the three players are. I just wanted to be the first person to mention this Kabanov character, so when the media is all over this guy, I want everybody to remember me for being the one to introduce him.

Sammy played decent first game, played horrible second game. If you watched Sammy everytime he hit the ice, you'd agree. Last game, on the PP, he didn't generate nothing but getting the puck taken away from him while on the point and tried carrying in the zone only to get a turnover.

The whole idea is to get in the head of whoever you're cheering for/against. Yesterday, the Habs fans were yelling "Thomas, Thomas, Thomas", and the results of the game were Montreal on top so it worked. No different then our 2-0 series advantage with us yelling "Ellis, Ellis, YOU SUCK"... If it does or doesn't work, we still seem to lead the series and fans seem to thing it works, so why try to fix what isn't broken, right?

I wouldn't say the D-Mac line has been TOO impressive, I'm seeing way too many Nashville opportunities when they are out there.

D-Mac scoring is great no doubt, but another huge thing is if our role players get into this too... Our chances are going to be that much greater.

I wouldn't make any changes except Abdelkader in for Hartigan. Chelios played amazing, and McCarty is ultimately better than Downey... Even though I love Downey.

I love Gary Roberts. His grit and determination is off the wall.

I was mad too... But got to watch the majority of the game on TSN, and the rest online. The Masters started at 3, and they weren't intending on it lasting longer than 4 hours, but it did unfortunately. I can't see this mishap happening again.

I will say this as a man who likes his golf... f*** THE MASTERS!

Peter Forsberg looks nothing like Ryan Reynolds. I'd replace Jason Williams with Nick Lidstrom when it comes to looking like Neil Patrick Harris. Other than that, everything's pretty good. I LOL'd at Ovechkin's.
