I don't know Ledger, but Dreger probably predicts the same.

Maggie hasn't been too accurate over the past couple years. Basically gained fame when she picked the Ducks over the Wings in '03, since then, the predictions haven't been as accurate.

If you live in Canada, or get TSN, all Red Wing games in the first round are on TSN, with Sunday games being on NBC and TSN.

They fixed it... - Detroit's leaders in penalty killing ice time (per game): Nicklas Lidstrom 3:57 Chris Chelios 3:57 Andreas Lilja 2:53 Brad Stuart 2:51 Kris Draper 2:43 Niklas Kronwall 2:24 * - Stuart's numbers include totals with Los Angeles.

Basically a tribute to how amazingly well Russians have been this season with 3 of the top 4 leading point getters being Russians, and others being at the top as well. A Vezina trophy winner is probably going to be a Russian, the Lady Byng winner will be a Russian, the Norris trophy will probably have a Russian nominee, while most of the other trophies will be in the hands of you know who. With that said, who are the top 10 Russians right now? 1. Alexander Ovechkin 2. Evgeni Malkin 3. Pavel Datsyuk 4. Evgeni Nabokov (Though from Kazahkstan, still considered a Russian to me. If you want to include Belarus players, same deal) 5. Ilya Kovalchuk 6. Sergei Gonchar 7. Alex Kovalev 8. Sergei Zubov 9. Andrei Markov 10. Alexander Frolov

Yashin is actually playing really good in the Russian league right now, so including him wouldn't be too much of a stretch. A guy like Morozov could be included in place of Frolov though.

I don't know... I watch a lot of Pittsburgh and a lot of Detroit games, and I have to say, Malkin seems to stand out more and seems to generate more scoring opportunities for himself. Malkin is also underrated defensively, as he is very responsible in his own zone and very aware of where to be when he doesn't have the puck. It might be tough for some people, but it's easy to say for me anyways that Malkin is the better player.

#7 and #24 should be retired league wide.
-
Your post is too scattered, too messed up, I got the idea... Didn't read it all, but I scrolled down and had a little glance at something completely messed up... PAT FALLOON?! Number retired by San Jose?! Can you please explain this?

100% chance he will win it.
-
Basing this off entirely mentally tough athletes, Steve Nash and Sidney Crosby can be included too.

Ovechkin has already shown that he has more passion than any Russian to ever play the game in his regular season play, I can't imagine him disappearing. If he knows what it's worth and knows it's the reason why he's in the NHL, he will outperform anyone. I really want the Caps to do good, they have a team you can't not like.

and LOL at Joey Chestnut making 25th... The hotdog eating guy.

Tiger Woods is determined and focused... I'm not sure that would fit the criteria of tough. Chara the toughest? Because he trains like a madman? Please... Plenty of hockey players train like madmen. Brind'Amour for example, hell, Gary Roberts. He should be on this list.

I wish the division thing didn't exist... If the Caps got a point tonight, they'd probably play Pittsburgh.

What UFAs would you love to see most in a winged wheel next season? Here's a list... http://nhlnumbers.com/freeagents.php?team=...type=salary0708 For me it's... 1. Sean Avery 2. Mats Sundin 3. Ryan Malone 4. Marian Hossa 5. Brian Rolston

I remember Calgary fans making some really good ones as well. Of course I was against their opinions, but I was a good sport about it... They were creative with theirs.

Paul Laus was a pretty good stay at home defenseman. But Opie, you did make your point and I applaud you.

Really? I think Detroit would be the last team to see a 60+ goal scorer. Our scoring is so spread out, it's ridiculous. Filppula, Hudler, Cleary, and Frazen are all going projected 20-25 goal scorers going into the season. Holmstrom and Datsyuk are projected 30-35 goal scorers, while Zetterberg is a 40+ scorer all pending on his health. It's impossible for a player to reach 60+ goals. The only way Hossa can see 60 goals next season, or even 50 for that matter is if he goes to a team like Boston where he be the elite sniper playing with pretty playmakers like Bergeron or Savard. Too many guys who can snipe on this team.
