It depends, is he a first time offender? Will he hire a good lawyer to represent him? A slap on the wrist from the law? Maybe... But losing respect from a fair share of people/fans is punishing enough.

If we need momentum, yes.

Hossa would probably wear 81, but what number would Mats go to? How about 21 for his old idol Borje Salming?
-
People who took this too seriously and got offended by it, don't be. JR's sense of humour is like that, and if he didn't know Cheli so well, he wouldn't have said it.

I loved that... GO KIIIIIIIIIIIIINGS.
-
Replace Shane Doan with Eric Staal, Jason Arnott with St. Louis or MAYBE Steve Stamkos, and Redden with DREW DOUGHTY, and yes, we have a roster.

Everyone except Kronwall, yes.

I heard this news and I was devistated. I met the guy a few times, he's the same age as me and lives like 10 minutes away from me. You will be missed, Mick.

Howard, yes!

Because I like lists... How would you rank the top 10 biggest offensive threats in the NHL. The players that other teams will watch out for the most. I'd say... 1. Sidney Crosby 2. Alexander Ovechkin 3. Ilya Kovalchuk 4. Vincent Lecavalier 5. Joe Thornton 6. Dany Heatley 7. Jarome Iginla 8. Henrik Zetterberg 9. Evgeni Malkin 10. Daniel Alfredsson

Note: An offensive threat is not only someone who can score, but creates offense as well.

My 11-20... Because I like lists. 11. Datsyuk 12. Nash 13. Gaborik 14. Spezza 15. Getzlaf 16. St. Louis 17. Sundin 18. Jokinen 19. Gaborik 20. Jagr

eva, I want your babies.

Lou Siffer, is that you?

I can't believe I'm the only one who has Crosby ahead of AO. It is disputable, but watching both, I see more ability from Crosby. The way he could keep the puck along the boards is unreal, and I think that should be recognized.

Thanks for posting, but what's so cool about that?

I guess Datsyuk should have been on my list, but not ahead of Zetterberg. I would say Malkin has definitely proved he is a threat, and if you see him play, he looks more dominant than Datsyuk. Malkin reminds me of Sergei Fedorov the way he plays. He carries the puck through the neutral zone into the offensive zone better than most.

Pretty good deal. It's always good to lock a goalie, and I'd say Lundqvist is a franchise goalie. Some people could say gamble considering on paper, his numbers have decreased since his rookie season, but it's not a bad signing. I think Al Montoya will be traded before he ever gets a chance to play in NYR. At the end of the day, he's really good trade bait, he's a future franchise goalie and probably the most promising up and comer.

What do you think the problem is for our current slump?
BeeRYCE replied to Lady in REd's topic in General
I truly think Kronwall and Cleary out of the lineup is a fairly big problem to say the least. However, we have been averaging 34 shots per game in the 4 game losing streak, so it's tough to say. Maybe luck hasn't been going out way. -
58Miles2Joe is lazy and he sucks. Haha, nice research.

For me it looks like this... 1. Canada (The country I hail from) 2. Sweden (Aside from Naslund, not really any players I hate from there, love them actually) 3. Russia (Exciting country to watch) 4. USA (You would think they'd be higher, and don't get me wrong, I love the States, but too many of their hockey players piss me off. The future looks bright though, so my opinion may change) 5. Slovakia 6. Finland 7. Czech Republic (I DO NOT LIKE THE PLAYERS THIS COUNTRY HAS PRODUCED, aside from Hudler and Hasek, but I'd probably not like them if they wore different uniforms anyway). This is in accordance to the players in the NHL. I realize there are pretty big leagues over in the UK, Switzerland, Denmark, etc... But there aren't enough players in the NHL of those nationalities.

It's just because I don't see why you'd pick guys who play under 5 minutes a game and that are only capable of fighting and chirping in comparison to guys who play 15-20 minutes a game, who can not only fight, but can dazzle you with moves and goals. My pop culture references were pretty relevant actually, and don't get me wrong here, I like goons, they're EYE CANDY. I just don't see why they'd have die hard fan bases for spending games in the box.
