I think there's more referees who do this. Not only in basketball, and I'm not speaking for hockey either, but sports in general. Just think, Tim Donaghy was the only one who got CAUGHT. I think there's more than meets the eye, because not that hard to keep these things a secret.

I wouldn't say really easily broken, but they do get broken easier than wooden sticks... Usually the ones who say they break easily are the guys who play every day and have a boomer of a shot. Also, they have very good warranties. Some stores provide 90 day warranties.

Jeff O'Neill, Tony Amonte, Trevor Linden, Eric Lindros, and Anson Carter all come to mind here.

It's tough, but I hate when people say Jagr was only good with Lemieux at his side. I wouldn't say Jagr is better, but I wouldn't say Lidstrom is better. Jagr has steadily been a top 3 offensive player throughout his entire career, and is still going strong. He has 5 Art Ross trophies, a Hart, and 3 Pearsons. Every single Art Ross has been without the aide of Lemieux. People decline Jagr's overall skill because of his poor attitude, but that shouldn't justify his credentials.

He's going to come out of absolutely nowhere, but that will be by the time he's 30. 2. Will Grigorenko prove to be a capable top 6 forward this season? - Nah, he'll do good, but to be a steady second liner is a huge stretch. 3. Will Hudler score 20+ goals this season? - Hudler, more minutes = more goals. He's obligated to play more, and will produce. 4. Will Filppula have a 45pt season? - I don't see why not, maybe he'll reach 60+. 5. Will Lilja get in more than 5 fights? - No, Lilja is not a fighter. 6. Will Rafalski have a career offensive year? - Goalwise, yes. Pointwise, it will be on par with his best season. 7. Who will be the alternate captains when Zetterberg gets the C? - By that time, Rafalski. I think Lids will play past 40 though. 8. Does Cleary turn out to be a one hit wonder, or does he repeat with another 20+ goal showing? - Yeah, but if not... He'll still have that heart. 9. What one forward, that is an 08 UFA as of now, would you like to see the Wings get at the deadline? - Anyone would say Heatley or Hossa... But I'd love Rolston. 10. Of the players whose contracts expire in either 08 or 09, which ONE top 6 winger and ONE top 4 Dman (both in the 3M-5M range) and which ONE bottom six player (less than 2M) would you like to see the Red Wings sign? - I don't know.

I would feel betrayed, but at the same time, I would understand. Bowman loves the game of hockey, and will not retire. It's not very often you turn down a president's job or a managing position, and it wouldn't be too surprising, it's not like Bowman hates the Leafs... We hate the Leafs.
