I'm always interested in NHL's up and comers, but I want to know, who are some potential rookie of the year candidates for the 07/08 season... I think of guys like: IGOR GRIGORENKO JAKUB KINDL Jonathan Toews Erik Johnson Bobby Ryan Jack Johnson Nicklas Backstrom However, those are just some obvious names. I'm just curious, who are they saying are going to be top NHL rookies next season, and/or what are your predictions? Also, how good of a shot do Grigs and Kindl have respectively?

Why? I think it should very well be his time.

Hasek would not want to face either team. Ottawa has perhaps the biggest sniper in the game in Dany Heatley whereas Buffalo has the most offensive depth in the NHL, either way, he'd face some tough shots. However, when it comes to the Wings as a whole, notably Holmstrom, they'll want to face the Sens. Why? Ray Emery gives up so many rebounds, meaning great treats for Homer.

I'm not sure if I can fathom 3 AMERICANS all being nominated for Calder. NO TOEWS? I think Toews will do something, and I still hold my opinion about him being the next Steve Yzerman. He's everything Steve Yzerman was as a 19 year old, it's so identical, it's scary. But yeah, judging by your estimates, it looks as if the future of the game is American.

The pass to Zetterberg was good. As Pierre stated, there are only 5 players in the world who would have made that pass. If Zetterberg scored, it would have been a different story. Giggy just made a real good save.

Giggy is no joke though. He's a guy who really steps it up in the playoffs. The two goals we scored yesterday were flukey, and I have a feeling a lot of our goals will have to be that and/or Holmstrom getting in his grill.
