Saturday = WIN. Next game is in the air, but I feel they will not beat us at the Joe. I see a game 7 in our favour.
-
Zetterberg is a better all around player, perhaps one of the best in the league. Pandolfo and Pahlsson are better defensive forwards.
-
Selke should have nothing to do with offensive stats. The only thing *might* be +/- and that still isn't a huge factor. With that said. CALDER MEMORIAL TROPHY ⦣8364;? Yes, because Holmstrom is the KING of pretty goals. -
*Cough*Samuelsson*Ahem* Oh yeah, I forgot, he's so important on the point for the PP.
-
Well, we're not going to sit Bertuzzi, but demoting him from the first line on the PP is a sure thing.

We're far from a one man team. Holmstrom helps huge, but also with his presence it makes the lines more stable, thus becoming once again, a solid 4 line team. -

Well if that's the case, hopefully these Sharks don't have freaken lazerbeams attached to their fricken heads! -

Okay guys, I see a bunch of negative threads, and reasonably so. I do not disagree with them, threads about "Hasek's unreasonable flops, Bertuzzi's dumb, costly penalties, Sammy's worthlessness, etc, etc." However, there is one positive aspect about game 4, and I truly believe this can get us the win, WE HAVE TOMAS HOLMSTROM! This makes me estatic, seriously, it does. We get to see the 13/40/96 chemistry that put us at number 1 in the west, lines are not all scrambled with non-chemistry players, and our PP will probably increase enough to get the job done. Holmstrom's presence was missed in front of the net, Holmstrom's chemistry with Zetts and Dats was missed, and with those two factors, I'm a firm believer in us pulling off game 4 victorious. -
I roll my eyes every time Sammy has the puck. "Oh, here we go again, wasted opportunity."
-
The most inaccurate list I have ever encountered. Top 5 is reasonable, but after that it gets gross.
-
IF we get a win at the Tank, we can call it a series.
-
Yeah, it's true. Hank and Brittany Murphy have some resemblance. Hank may look good, but Dom looks seductive.

He's 5-0. That's nothing amazing, if he was like 8-0 it would be different.

I'm blaming this game on Datsyuk's missed opportunity early in the game. Yes, poor judgement, I know, but think about it, him scoring that goal would have set momentum, and I'm sure the outcome would have not been the same. That was a big time wasted opportunity by Dats. Shameful.

Nah, her picking Anaheim over Detroit was what made that damn thing famous.

Sharks can die, see avatar.

Convince me why I shouldn't be dreading this series....

The only hot commodity in this series is Joe Thornton, no Wing forward is better than him at all. However, put our grinders against him, and you can contain him. He's not as fast. Oh yeah, we have the best defenseman in the league to contain him. With that said, Lidstrom contains Thornton As for San Jose's other superstars... Zetterberg > Marleau Datsyuk > Cheechoo Bertuzzi > Guerin Schneider > Rivet Hasek > Nabokov Our grinders > Their grinders Overall, we are the better team. On paper, we're the better team. If everyone plays their game like round 1, it shouldnt be too much of a problem. There, let the positive spirit flow. -
I think it's unfair to other to consider Lidstrom MVP of this series. He played good, but he made unusual mistakes for his calibur (particularly game 3 and 4 obviously) and I think those two games alone should take his considerations away. He wasn't bad at all, but not the best, point-wise yes, but still not the best. The best was Cleary. In the playoffs, it's a whole new style of game, the dump and chase style, as oppose to the flat out puck possession game. Dan Cleary adapted to that style in every way, beating players to the corners and simply not giving up. Cleary was solid every second he played, including games 3 and 4. Chelios even played a hell of a series.

No worries folks. He will get disciplinary action. What a ******* piece of s***, man.

You and I both.
