How badly can you misspell hockey names?

Some names that come to mind when I think of confusing names... Sergei Krivokrasov Evgeny Artyukhin Yutaka Fukufuji Branko Radivojevic Curtis Leschyshyn Eric Boguniecki Carlo Colaiacovo Mariusz Czerkawski Tomas Fleischmann Joe Nieuwendyk Andrew Wozniewski Daniel or Mathias Tjarnqvist Ryan Vandenbussche If it wasn't for research, none of these would be spelled right at all.

    Leafs fans

From 1996 to 2002, I watched maybe 75-80% of Wings home games on TV (Back in the UPN50 days )... I have never heard a boo.

    NFM#25 and Wildwings44 Autograph Session

I'd love a NFM25 autograph. I'm selling that on Ebay and making a fortune.

Okay, okay, BUT, have Wings fans ever booed a player?

There was a deal rejected by the NHL yesterday

What, did this happen at 3:01 or something? That would have been the most fair trade all day though. Blake for a first rounder is very fair.

Why do Blues fans hate the Redwings so much?

Blues have fans? No, I'm serious, I never knew they existed.

who will be not dressed once sam is back ?

Hudler. I'm considering this due to Filppula playing nearly 2 minutes more per game then Hudler. It's very evident that Hudler will be gone, and it's very unfortunate. I'd love to undress Zetterberg though. Wow, I'm ***.

    Line ideas, anyone?

Ahh good times with Bert, Rex and Bob. Actually, I was a major factor in the deal. We went out clubbing in the D, Bert, Bob, Rex, and I, and what happened was Bert knocked up Ken Holland's daughter. Holland wasn't a happy camper so he told ol' Bert there, who I love, that if he stays in Detroit, he wouldn't have to pay child support. Long story, may be a bit confusing, but you should've been there. Great night if I must say.

Hudler's nick name is Rex. Just play elimination, Bob = Robert Lang, and Bert = Bertuzzi... I'm a smartass ain't I?

Bert, Bob, and Rex. I LMAO'd.
  11. This isn't 2002, but for it being the CBA era, pound for pound, it's identical to 2002.

    Norstrom traded to Dallas

This should grant Blake captaincy, correct?

  14. Doubting Holland is a thing of the past. Let by gones be by gones. HOWEVER, our underachieving last 3 playoff seasons were a reason on why we doubted him at the time. Our lack of grit and lack of passion was a concern, and was triggered at Holland. I don't regret doubting Holland, or in better words, holding a grudge. I don't regret it because of our last 3 playoff failures, but he bounced back and did what he could. I'm not sorry for doubting him in the past, I had every reason to. By gones are by gones, and negatives have turned into positives. Good job, Kenny.
  15. A+. A+ is a perfect rating. Holland exceeded all expectations. It's practically like he read the LGW to see what he should do. He fit every little need, which wasn't much, but it was important. With J-Willy stuggling, the best thing he could do for him and the team was give him a new scenery, in exchange for a very solid 2nd to 3rd line player in Kyle Calder. He managed to fit out other very, very important need by killing two birds with one stone in both grit and a scoring winger by getting Bertuzzi. He got Bertuzzi while at the same time making it a concern for the team's future. He gave up Mattias, who is a very, very promising young kid who I would have loved to see in the future, and a conditional pick. I'm not complaining though, he gave up the bare minimum to get Bert. Holland couldn't have done better. This deadline day is the turning point of Holland's reputation around here. He made every fan in Detroit happy, and me, as happy as can be. A+ for Holland, for the absolute perfect deadline performance.

Homer will STAY with Dats and Z. Our powerplay lines should take a turn now. The way I see it, SHOULD be. Datsyuk - Zetterberg - Holmstrom Bertuzzi - Lang - Hudler Cleary should be demoted to not playing on the PP, while a power forward with two finesse Czechs in Lang and Hudler would be perfect. Just my opinion, I really could see it working though. Maybe even Calder in Hudler's place, but realistically, Hudler should be seeing more PP time. It's his strength, or at least, would be.

Official: Ryan Smyth dealt to Islanders

I feel sorry for Smyth. I mean, he goes from such a great hockey city where everyone loves him, to... Long Island? Same with Marc-Andre Bergeron, but at least Smyth has someone he knows.

No because he looks identical to Neil Patrick Harris. I swear I'm the only one who thinks this too.

Wings acquire Kyle Calder in 3-way deal

I flicked on the Sports station, and on the ticker I saw "To Chicago: Jason Williams." At first I thought, wow, this is too good to be true, it must be Miami Heat's Williams going to the Bulls. Nope, J-Willy on the move! He was a good guy, just needed to go.

First Ben Wallace and now this? Dammit Chicago, quit stealing our stars! I'm kidding, best of luck to Doogie Howser.

    Following Players placed on Waivers

To be honest, having Berard in Detroit wouldn't be bad. Remember when he was top of the junior world and playing in identical uniforms as yours truly with the Jr. Red Wings? Maybe the change in scenery will bring him back on top of things.

Wings acquire Kyle Calder in 3-way deal

Nothing bad about this trade, nothing bad at all.
  25. I must say they have been receiving quite the amount of first round picks for their stars. I mean, if you look at it this way, they gave Tkachuk up, and now they have Atlanta's pick in '07, which will probably be right in the middle of the first round, and a conditional first rounder in '08. Not too shabby. Also, Gueren will almost definitely be dealt, and more than likely a first rounder in '07 will come along with that. So so far that makes 2 (soon to be 3) first rounders in '07 as far as I know, and maybe 2 in '08. Where will St. Louis land this year you ask? 23rd overall, so that grants them a possible 7th overall pick in '07. Along with maybe a 15th overall pick, and in compensation for Guerin it will probably be a 25th to 30th overall pick. As far as their current prospects/young players, they have Erik Johnson coming along, who's almost a lock to be an elite NHL defenseman. Guys like TJ Oshie and goalie Marek Schwarz to probably take over as soon as Manny's done in STL. Now their young guys, you consider guys like David Backes, Lee Stempniak, Jay McClement, and Jeff Woywitka who all still have yet to develop, and will more than likely develop into stars. That isn't the most elite group of names, but their good, and you have to still consider the 5 possible first rounders to come along in the next two years. I'm just stating that people consider Washington and Pittsburgh to be two teams of the future, but could St. Louis develop into a team of that elite status?
