You guys do know how these threads start right? Fairly new posters come in and start them not aware of the fact that these kinds of threads start all the time. Posts go on and on and then us older, more aware posters ***** and babble about how these same threads always happen. Put yourself in their shoes, your a newbie coming in, you look and wonder why the hell isn't there a Lang bashing thread? You would never see someone like NN, eva, ARice, Heaton, NFM25, SWF, myself, etc, etc. starting threads like these. Let these newbies start their threads so they can see what everybody else thinks.

Then why not give him the same amount of ice time? Why sign the league's leading scorer (at the time) when your only going to give him less ice time than such guys as Datsyuk, Hull, Shanahan, Zetterberg, Yzerman, etc.? Now that I think about it, why did they sign him in the first place, when stardom was already there?

When signing him did we not expect better? When we signed him, he was THE breakthrough player in the league. When we got him, he was on pace for 96 points, give or take. That's what we expected from him. However, we have him at the exact price he's worth, in the high 3 million dollar range, and in my opinion he hands down gets the title of being the best 3rd line center in the league.

I just find Lang bashing humorous. I'm not going to contribute, just keep bashing, it's fuuuuunny.

PWFC, you have really made a name for yourself starting these threads. Lang for Knuble would be a good trade, but throwing in Eager and Williams is rather pointless.

I'd trust Canadiens.com over anything. There he is listed as 5'11", 185 lbs. Maybe a little less than average size among NHL standards. He's fast, good quality for today's NHL standards.

I have quite the feeling that I'll turn on the sports channel one day very soon and it will say "*insert team here* had picked up JP Dumont." It has happened too many times this offseason. I'd want Dumont just as much as Lang, I like Lang, but if we can get an improving Perezhogin in the process as well, why not?
