http://www.nhl.com/ Check the poll. I don't know, I truly say Eastern Finals. Others seem to think otherwise. Wrong forum. Don't know how it ended up here. I'm a crackhead.

What are you talking about? Naslund is a way better player than Gagne. Gagne's success last season came from Forsberg, put Forsberg on anyone's line, and you'll become a star. Gagne isn't a BAD player, but he wouldn't do anything on Vancouver.

What you do in the Russian league doesn't prove anything here. Never going over 50 points in an NHL season doesn't grant 3 mill.

Antropov fits out criteria to players we don't need. - He's a centerman who could excel and has the potential to be a 2nd liner, but doesn't care to play to his full potential because he has an absolute lazy work ethic. I don't want this guy, not the least bit.

Which Curreyers Would You Keep For The Long Haulnt Detroit Pla
BeeRYCE replied to wingsfan40's topic in General
What would be considered a long haul? 10 years, or close to it? I'd say Kron, Zetts, Howard, Franzen, and Lebda. This topic doesn't really belong in poll booth. It would only be beneficial to move it considering you'd get more replies in gen. discussion. -
OH MY GOD, A LEGIT RUMOUR BY EKLUND!
-
He's no Brodeur just yet, but Zetterberg is no Gretzky just yet either.
-
This trade would make me legit cry. Holland is a s***head sometimes, but he's not stupid enough to trade Zetterberg AND Kronwall away.
-
If that isn't sarcasm, I demand documented proof that he is a good source.

Paul, make up your mind, Knuble or Nabokov? I was always thinking we could benefit with the new and improved Knuble coming back, but Philly loves the guy for the reasons you stated. He'd be our missing link to be honest. It's hard to say if Philly would want/need an offensive defenseman in Schneider. Realistically, they do have Pitkanen who does the job, and Freddy Meyer on the horizon. I'd love to get Knuble, but I can honestly say that Philly likes him too much.

Nabokov isn't overrated and IS a playoff goalie. I mean he was a huge reason why San Jose went so far in the 2004 playoffs.

Schneider/Williams/3rd Pick for Nabokov/Michalek
-
He makes alot of money, but he IS worth the price, and we CAN afford him. People need to remember that we have nearly 8 million to spend. An elite, all star potential goalie like Nabokov would only be insurance to this already stable defensive team. I wouldn't be upset if we picked up Nabokov, but the question is, does San Jose really want Schneider? The answer in my opinion is yes. Their best defensemen are Hannan and Maclaren who are both known stay at home defensemen. Adding Schneider would pick up the rush in the defensive/neutral zone. Schneider for Nabokov with others would be a trade in which would benefit both teams.

1st job finally focused on, now 143 more to go.
-
Briere's a great player, but we shouldn't just get him because he's great. It'd be a waste to pick up yet another all star centerman.
-
I think Lang is at least a little better than Souray. If the trade was straight up Lang for Souray, yes, but I don't think Souray is worth a prospect also. Just my opinion.
-
Yeah, I'd love this trade is it was someone OTHER than Kronwall. Maybe.. Schneider? Or like both Lebda, and Lilja.
-
Shanahan's like a little girl asking for a pony for her birthday. What kind of crap is this? Is Shanny deserving of the same money as such guys as Kovalchuk, Jokinen, and Tanguay? Oh I think I can answer that, ABSOLUTELY NOT.
-
Well, we better hope he performs like a $4,000,000 player. That means same performance as last season, carrying on into the playoffs.
-
The man's definately a keeper. Sounds pretty sweet that you had a conversation with him, good work.
-
Was that... On purpose? Anyways, Lilja gets the nod for being worse. Hatcher got caught against a fast team, Lilja's just a regular bum.
-
Not alot of people jump into the NHL right away. They're usually from higher rounds. However, I do think we should try to pick up a North American in the first round at least.

Yeah you read the title. Who would you consider some of the more exciting athletes in all of sports? I'd say.. Hockey: Pavel Datsyuk, Alexander Ovechkin, Jaromir Jagr, Ilya Kovalchuk, and Marian Gaborik. Football: Michael Vick, Brian Urlacher, Troy Polamalu, and Shawn Alexander. Basketball: Jason Richardson, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Dwyane Wade. Baseball: Not too many exciting players, they just all do their jobs in a not so fancy way. I just went with the 4 major sports, feel free to add on some other sports as well.
