next seasons free agent signing priority #1
BeeRYCE replied to paul woods fan club's topic in General
Not to mention, Spezza's salary is going to boost by a whole lot. As will Meszaros'. -
Wait until next season fellas.. Evgeni Malkin will be the biggest fear of all goalies.
-
Kovalchuk seems to be on a tare now, and he probably won't stop. He's my new candidate.

We could land him, but he'd take a big chunk out of our salary. With Chelios retiring, and Yzerman retiring, it makes some room, but moving some of our bigger names would have to be an option. I'd probably go after a less expensive, but still physical defenseman. -
Lang to Sharks for Mclaren? Lang to Sharks for Hannan? Lang to Blues for Jackman? Lang to Phoenix for Mara? I'd take any.
-
It's on TSN, so it's more legit than any Eklund rumours, or whatever his name is.
-
Probably not considering he leads all goalies in save % and GAA.
-
I could see us getting Jackman in the future. If I was a psychic, I'd confirm it.
-
Of course not, I'm referring to the majority of his time with the Wings.
-
Oh man, that'd be nice. Hopefully he doesn't choke like ol' Joseph.
-
Well, you just made me look stupid. Props.
-
Post whores.

I wouldn't do Legace & Zetterberg for Brodeur, but I'd definately be willing to replace Brodeur for Luongo.
-
I agree with what's been said. $1.5 Million MAX.

This is actually a bad thread to make on a Red Wing board. Obviously people are going to go with the Wings. I picked the Wings though, even being the unbiased fan that I am. I could honestly see them upping their game and playing with more passion just to try to win Stevie one more cup before he hangs up the skates.

Thanks for the pictures.

2 years ago, I'd do this trade in a heartbeat, but trading one of our top 3 guys, and a very good goalie for, as previously mentioned, a struggling, aging goalie, I'd take the pass on this one.
-
The 2004 standings at this time around would be available at NHL.com? I don't know mang. By the way, this is kind of in the wrong thread, is it not?
-
I'd be unsure about what to think. Luongo is one of the best goalies in the NHL, but the Wings have done fine without a great goalie and star studded offense, and I think it should be kept that way. I say no.
-
Staal, I believe. But it's going to be close. Forsberg has been keeping his eyes open lately, Kovalchuk is making the NHL look like house league hockey, Jagr has done it before and can do it again, Alffy and Heatley like to set each other up with help from Spezza.. I don't know, but Staal seems to be getting 'er in the net game after game, and I'd like to see him over anybody. I pity the idiot who chose Crosby. I like the guy, but no Richard winner this year.

I'll take Redden any day. I love Ed Jovanovski, one of my personal favorites, but I think Redden is the better of the three, next question?
-
Awesome, but that's relevant to this thread how?
-
I don't know. If it was who would be the best person to have a discussion/debate with, I'd put my money on eva unit zero.

Umm, yeah.. Allison sucks.
