Yup. He called his way right out of the finals. Thank goodness. They have a very difficult job and it can never be perfect but having him out sure makes me feel better.

This is probably the best for promoting the sport. You've got the a ton of big names and good story lines to go along with it. Sure as a Wings fan I'd preferred some team the Wings could steam roll, but this should be more entertaining.

Wings only played with effort for 40 minutes. Both Datsyuk and Kronwall basically took a night off. Chicago's #1 goalie is MIA and Havlat is on another planet. Don't get too worked up people.

My bad. He had no goals to waive off so he switched it majors and ejections.

Dan O'Halloran is one of the refs. So I am warning you all now. There is a 50/50 chance we will see a goal waived off tonight.

The Ducks do that stuff because they know they can get away with it. The league might and I say might suspend Parros if he were on the ice and gave Datsyuk a full on pile driver at center ice after the game was over. Its not even about that crap though. Ducks just do that s*** to get under the Wings skin. Wings just need to come out with some urgency and go to the net hard in the first period Thursday.

I don't know about whining exactly, but when I was at the Pens/Wings game earlier this season Sidney was pretty much stalking the officials the entire night. After every whistle while on the ice, from the bench, after the first and second peroid, after the third before the game went to OT. It was crazy. I was paying particular attention to him because hell he is Sidney who is no doubt one of the best players in the league and it was my first time seeing him live. I've been to over 70 NHL games over the years and never ever seen another player do this. Maybe it was some kind of off night, but between seeing that live and watching him on TV I can't help but to think of him a a complainer. Lets not get it mixed up. He is without a doubt a fantastic player and from all I've ever seen a truly good guy off the ice. The dude just complains alot.

Somebody needs to do the entire family asap!

Sidney is a super talented guy that complains more than any other hockey player. I've seen it live. He and the zebras appear to be tethered

Thank goodness that game came on when they did. Watching the Canucks style of play made me want to smash my television.

Wings were outplayed early by the Ducks and outplayed late by the refs. Brutal.

NHL.com has to write stories and hell the guy has been pretty damn good so far. Yes its a bit early for Conn Smythe talk. I do however prefer this over another Crosby/Ovechkin ass kissing session.

Actually it doesn't seem like they can. The Zebras are in the middle of everything and anything so quick its sick. Maybe if they let some guys actually fight things would cool off a bit and there wouldn't be so many cheapshots.
