Yeah Yashin watched from the ice so he at least got to pretend to earn his money. Havlat watches from the stands. Joking aside its really sucks. Havlat is really talented. The Wings have to play the Hawks eight times a year and it would be far more entertaining with Havlat playing.

This guy must make more $$$ per actual minute on ice than almost any player in history.

Its easier and cheaper to sit home watch it on TV. Hell I don't even start watching the games until around an hour after they drop the puck so we can watch them through commercial free. One top of that we get to replay the exciting plays, fights, ect. Sure its fun to go down couple times a year and take in the crowd. Everyone who likes hockey should go once in a while. I've been to probably to over 50 games at Joe Louis over the years, but I can definatly understand why people don't go.

Please keep us updated on this. If Concast adds the NHL Channel I might have to leave WOW too.

Yeah my cousin was at the game tonight and I told him to pay close attention to Grigs. Called me after the game and said he looked terrible.

I also think they should wait it out and see how things progress with Quincy, Meech & Kindl competing for the 7th slot. Lilja played extremely well at the end of the season and playoffs minus that debacle in OT. No he isn't going to add points, but his PK play is very good. Rafalski is going to eat up a ton of minutes in all situations. Kronwall playing an entire season sure would help things.

This will be exciting. I'm interested in finally seeing what this guy can do.

I'd like to see Bert back just to see what he can do if healthy again. The guy is a game changer when he plays with confidence.

Yeah this is a no brainer for them. All he does is everything well.

I'm really pleased with this signing. He can play both ends very well.

Well he was great while he was here. Can't ask for a whole lot more than that. He got the cash and went to a winner. Can't blame him one bit.

I'd like to see him stay and get a bit more ice. He is a really tough player to figure out though.

This is a great pickup for the Flames. That along with Iginla hopefully signing an extension is great for that market. Plus I watch them on HNIC at ton during the season.

Played growing up and in my early 20's. Lots of pickup and pond hockey. Never played much real organized, but I played pickup with some guys who played in college and damn they made me look bad I would get stuck in net sometimes and it was insane. I remember the guys would say "great save man!!!" and all I was thinking to myself was thank goodness they shot it into my glove because I never saw it.
