Because it's galling to see the ducks play the pick/interference style that was supposed to have been wiped out in the new NHL the ENTIRE series only to have that particular penalty called on the home team in the 3rd period with less than 5 to go, when it's been let go all game/series the other way. Obviously the Wings should have capitalized on the pp chances but that doesn't make that particual call any less galling.

No worse than listening to Eddie Olczyk try to find anything postive to say aobut the Wings.

Yes I know this, but it's a US network. I don't think anyone is suprised by the Canadian slant of the Canadian Broadcasting Company, but NBC right now sounds as bad as CBC. All I'm asking for is for them to be a little more even in the announcing. If your a casual US fan watching a US network you're probably rooting for the US team by national default so having the broadcast heavily favor the Canadian team doesn't make a ton of sense. I'm just irriatated and the announcing is making me extra cranky.

Once again teh NHL proves it's the biggest joke league around. They don't even know their own rules and can't even enforce them. The refereeing league wide is a joke and makes games nearly unwatchable.

My issue would be that they weren't going to call it initially. It was the very definition of incidental and very easily could have and probably should have been let go. That said he did catch him and they killed off the penalty so "no harm (sort of) no foul"

I hope the good play continues from the 2nd line and rooks. Now if we add Hank back to that mix if he can regain most of his form we might be alright heading into the playoffs.

Damn...way to grind it out fellas. That was playoff style hockey and I like what I saw from the wings. The refs....not so much.

He's not lost, that's his style. He's always had a lacidasical look to him it's just when he was younger he was a bit faster. One of his flaws has always been picking up/locating the puck, but it's never been bad enough to be a real issue. If this gets worse though it will be an issue for him continuing his career past his mid 30's That said I think he's playing alright tonight. Decent postioning and is tracking the play pretty good.

Only 3 things in this world are constant: 1. Death 2. Taxes 3. Samuelsson will shoot the puck everytime, no matter the angle or distance.

Damn there seems like an awful lot of hooking and holding going on out there. I really hate to see that crap creeping back in.
