I know, I think Ozzie at least deserves a repaint.

Red Wings figures sell better than any other, hence Howard. However I agree Franzen, Osgood, Rafalski, Kronwall, Bertuzzi, hell probably even Modano should have gotten them first.
-
You make a solid point... Until you look at Sid Abels number hanging, he doesn't belong with the rest of the group. Great player, great man but a step below in talent.

I won't be there this year, it's the first time in a few years I'm not going up.

That's actually really funny, I still contend that it is the way everything operates that makes the iPhone a great phone, I know there are phones with better performance in certain areas. I just haven't used one that did so many things really really well.
-
Franzen? Bert was at one point, still sorta plays that game.

Windows out sells Apple computers too... that doesn't make them better, iOS is on one phone, the OS and the phone are made by the same company which allows them to ensure it works seemlessly. Android is on at least 10-15 different phones currently and on 4 major carries in the US. The iPhone is on one. I know it's a matter of opinion but I have yet to use an Android phone that compares to the iPhone favorably. They have gotten ALOT better since the G1 and I am sure a few more revisions and they will be right there. They are still lacking a music distribution source as widley supported as iTunes and the App Store leaves something to be desired. Until they fix those two things it won't matter to a lot of people how great the Android OS has gotten.

I think if you eliminated points for OT or Shootout loses you'd be in better shape.

Those that are complaining are idiots... The Wings would prefer to spend their dollars that are going to go to a play with minmal offensive skill, and the ability to fight to a nice stay at homes defensmeb. As far as the Wings go Salei will get way more ice time than any 4th line enforcer ever would. Real toughness comes from the checks. If you don't like the system, watch boxing of MMA, we win cups in Detroit.

The single biggest scapegoat of the Red Wings in the last 20+ years...

I am sorry but I am not going to have a pitty party for Cujo, he is a professional athlete. The fact of the matter is Cujo left doubt in managements mind with his 2003 run. Yes the team was weaker but if he didn't leave the door open the Wings would not have signed Hasek. That being said Cujo was a class act in 2004, but so was Hasek. He gave back his paycheck, something no other athlete in professional sports history has ever done. But back to Cujo, he could have given the Wings the finger or blown games. He was lights out in the playoffs in 2004. I am sorry that things didn't work out differently, but again he was paid 8 million dollars that year. He had a job to do and he did it. Yes he probably didn't love his job that year, and yes that's unusual for a Red Wings player, but I am sure we have all had days, months, years, and some of us even longer where we worked a job we didn't really like. -
Not sure where you are getting your info from but at best Ritola is a 13th forward at this point, and Kindl a 7th D. Holland said they would be "given opportunity" to make the team. For as long as I have been watching the Wings that means another year in GR. That being said if any of them do make the team it will mean they earned and deserve it. Last Red Wing to skip GR and come right up was Zetterberg.

You can ship it to them but they have locations all over the area. Not sure how close to you. Check the website.

And also dealing with an off-ice transvestite hooker scandal.

Z-D-H Cleary- Flip- Franzen Huds- Abby- Bert Eaves/Tatar- Helm- Mursak Ritola/enforcer Kronner- Raffy Smith- Stuart E- Kindl UFA/Janik/whoever Howard UFA/Ozzy/McCollum/Larsson All of the bolded players are "rookies" barring injuries they will have almost no NHL experience by next season. And in regards to room for a top parring defensman, we'd have at least Lidstrom's 6.2million maybe more if the cap goes up again. I'd say we should be able to sign a solid D man.
-
Also when Lids decides to hang them up the Wings will make a splash in the defense department. It may not be one player and no one can replace him but they will do something to bolster the defense. Hudler could chase dollars... He has a history of it. Hope he stays.

That roster has two many virgins for my liking, and for Kenny's more than likely as well. You have a 3rd of our roster slotted with 1st year players. Look for Holland to add 1-2 max per year with veterans filling in the rest. Maybe working in some of the other rookies for injuries and or short stretches during the season.

Yes: Eaves, Howard, Kronwall, Helm Maybe: Lidstrom, Modano, Hudler, Rafalski, Holmstrom, Bertuzzi, Stuart, Osgood, Ericsson, Salei, Miller No: Draper

In regards to Fanatic U ask for Debbie on Saturdays she is the one that does the actual sewing, and yes I believe they will accept by mail. They also frequently offer 20% off new jersey sales.
-
I personally would use Fanatic U in Garden City, MI. I have personally met the person that sews the Jersey's, (Debbie every Saturday morning) and have 10 Autographed jersey's that she's done for me. Plus they are cheaper than Sportsk. If you want pictures I can email for you.

Should I complain about the jersey customization?
Booster313 replied to Behind Enemy Lines in CO's topic in General
If you noticed it then give them a call... You should be happy with your purchase. -
Check out Fanatic U in Garden City Michigan, they can do anything and Debbie sews the Jerseys! Ask about their 20% off when you order. 120 bucks for a customized replica jersey. 185.00 for an Authentic. I have bought 12 jersey's from them over the years. Plus it would help the Michigan economy!

I understand both sides but that sort of makes sense to me broken button, take it back, a scratch on the back or bottom of the player, and I don't really care. Point is it depends on how bad the defect is. I bet if I took a ruler to my closet and started measuring seems, hems, etc I would have to return most of my clothes. -

Let me ask u this, did you need the ruler to tell they weren't aligned or is it something you noticed right off the bat? I have never checked any of my 10 or 11 Jersey's with a ruler... I say let it go if you can't tell by looking. -
I like it for loyalty and for development of younger players. Kind if sad in a way, I wish he'd take a front office job.

Somewhere in between on J-HO. I have his jersey, I am a fan... But yes he didn't play as well as he should have against San Jose, but neither did the team. They were out of gas, and yes his rebound control would be an area of improvement. He at times makes saves look harder than they should, but with out the confidence that Hasek displayed in similar situations.
