He looks like a toolbox...it fits!

Great artwork!!! Did you draw that yourself?
-
I call BULLs***. How are you going to have a Hurricanes Rap Night, use the song to your benefit then sue the artist. That's bush-league! Do you think Steve Yzerman and Heniken should sue Kid Rock?
-
This is how I understood it as well!
-
Eva, That's not how I understood it, I know there has been a lot of misinformation floating around but I think the Wings are going to accept the offer unless it's just outrageous then the KHL is going to ask Hudler where he plans to play, if he still wants to play in the KHL he can but upon returning to the NHL in two years, five years, etc he would have to honor his NHL contract. They Wings are merely going through with the arbitration because one, they are required to, and two they don't want to walk away and loose Hudlers rights for nothing.

That was a great watch! I really enjoyed that more than I thought I would.
-
That's a fair explanation, I just found the statement kind of funny! Like an oxymoron.
-
Not questioning your logic but how can you say on one breath that you were too young to really watch these games then in the next say you really miss Vladdy? That's like saying you really miss Jesus Christ or Abraham Lincoln, they sound like great people to me and I wish I'd have had a chance to meet them, but it's not the same as missing them.

Why I May Have It Worse Than Anyone Here
Booster313 replied to WingsFanInPensCountry's topic in General
Better yet, have them write an essay on the History of the Detroit Red Wings 11 Stanley Cups. -
Incorrect, all a two-way deal means is that he has one salary if he plays up here and another salary if he plays in the NHL. On a one way deal the player and the team agree to one salary regardless if the player is playing in Detroit or GR. Either way the only salaries that count against the cap are those on the active roster.

The fact of the matter is that bottom feeder teams have to overpay for free agents, you'd hope they would only do it for the right free agents though.

You came across bitter, if that wasn't your intent then I apologize. In any case, be happy for Hossa wish him well, or just ignore him...anything else comes across like a girlfriend who just got dumped. He doesn't warrant that kind of negative attention.

Sounds like some fans have sour grapes...he took a risk to come here, left a lot of money on the table, had a great regular season and a subpar playoffs. It was one year, let it go. You can blame Hossa for not coming down to 4 million a season if you want...or you can blame holland for not coming up to 5. Both sides had a number they were comfortable with and neither side was willing to move to make the deal work, what would you expect Hossa to do retire because the Wings didn't pay him what he felt he was worth? I for one know now that he truly is about finding the right fit not chasing the dollars, he could have easily made more with a s***ty LA or Edmonton but he chose the Hawks. I know we don't like them because we're Wings fans but ask yourself if you couldn't play for the Wings and you were a professional hockey player what would your second choice be? Mine would be the Pens or the Hawks...I'm just thankful that I don't have to make those choices and I can continue disliking their teams and loving mine.

Doesn't matter unless the puck crosses the goal line before it enters the glove it's no goal.
-
It appears we all like the ducks...or do we just know you want us to hate the ducks so we're all liking the ducks because we know that really bothers you thereby taking the upper hand in the rivalry! Ah HA
-
I dunno...Getz isn't too bad, actually he is one of those players I hate on the ducks but would love to have on the Wings. Pronger is just a player I hate period!
-
LMAO :rotflmao: ROTF I got the humor...I think we all fit this description sometimes!
-
I don't see any proof she likes short guys...
-
I think it's awesome that Havlat makes himself available to the fans like that.

Get it done...

How much is a Datsyuk Autographed jersey from Hockeytown Authentics wo
Booster313 replied to Hankanator's topic in General
I would guess that its worth around 300.00 but I have seen some listed online as much as 650.00, that seems to be more price gouging than anything else. I have an autographed Pavel jersey myself but it's never leaving my basement. -
This must mean that Tallon is signing a 5 year extension, because it's always the opposite of what Ek says.
-
If he wanted a one year 2-3million dollar contract then sign him up.
-
For me it's Hossa, I think that it comes from my experience meeting him and his incredible talent. I was lucky enough to spend 20minutes sharing a drink with him Kopey, and Huds at the bar in Detroit. I got a chance to get to know him just a little better than you do on television, that was cool.

Robert Lang...Babcock doesn't like him, he won't be back.
