I think it is WAY to early to make a judgement on Kopy or Ozzie, but since we are so quick to jump on them when they screw up we might as well me equally quick to jump on them when they do a great job!

I was actually "in" ESPN's The Season: Detroit Red Wings! I was at Yzerman's first game back vs. the Kings after his knee surgery. They interviewed me and I made the cut! I have been looking for a copy of it on DVD recently. Anyone know where I can get one?

Speaking of Hossa and Franzen, we are inching to the trade deadline and no recent word. Has anyone heard anything?

I know that it's a long shot but Kari Lehtonen is the only player so far that makes sense. Not sure I want him...bit thw Wings could be looking at him.

Lidstrom is quietly climbing the points rankings everyday...the question is. Is it too quietly and too late for a seventh career Norris win? Why is Chara the favorite when he has 9 less overall points than Lidstrom and a slightly lower plus/minus? And Finally Brian Rafalski is currently ranked second in defensive scoring yet I've heard narry a mention of his name in contention for the Norris, why? I would like to see Lidstrom win it this year and next, to tie Bobby Orr for most Norris wins and I think that he not only has a shot but deserves it. As bad as the Red Wings PK has been for Nik's +/- to be where it is, is a feet in itself and to be playing at such a high level at 39 years old also speaks volumes. Comment Away

Ticket prices range from 22-125 for the regular season. They playoff tickets are usually hiked up a bit...the good news is the first round is still kind of reasonable. The farther they go the more drastic the increase. The view is pretty good from anywhere in the arena but I would recommend something in the first 15 rows of the upper bowl if you want the best view for the value.

Is it sick that I kind of wondered where we would be if he had decided to stick around for another year? LOL maybe he would have found his game yet again...or maybe everyone would have Hasek to be mad at instead of Osgood.

A depth defensemen or forward if anything...unless they get Hossa or Franzen signed...then they could possibly move Flip for a like player who's contract expires after this year...that was we don't hurt our chances of winning a cup this year by loosing someone off the roster but we still have cap space come years end.

So many favorite Wings playing on so many different teams...You could root for Canada, Russia, Finland, The Czech Republic, Slovkia, and of course Sweden...the way I see it though the right thing to do is route for the USA! That's where I live after all.

I agree with your stance on fighting and I am not sure what the paragraph on the enviroment is about...but three out of those four are a product of mother nature...if it happens so be it...plastic is man made. We are the only species, other than Locust's that use more resources than we produce in an enviroment. There is nothing wrong with cars or roads or plastic of anything else...we just need to balance it with nature and unfortunatly we've not been responsible with that to this point. Hopefully we are starting to come around...just my two cents...and for the record. I am not a tree hugging, naturalist. I just believe we all have a responsibility to do our part.
