EVU, Normally your the model of perfect reason, and I can see your points in all three of your possible deals, however given the limited number of sellers this year and the high number of buyers I don't think that an of those deals can happen as is. The most realistic of the three is Columbus even then I think bidding will drive the asking price higher. As far as the LA trade, I don't think LA has any intentions of moving Cammalleri for all the reasons you named, he will be one of their building blocks for the future and unless we are replacing that it wouldn't make sense. I don't think Hudler is enough, although I admit I know very little about Emmerton/McGrath's career potential. Just my 2 cents!

Exactly...if the Ducks had still won in OT, then so be it...they would have deserved it. Unless a penalty is blatant, the ref shouldn't be able to call off a goal. That'something that directly effects the outcome of the game. If they felt a penalty should be called then call it and give the ducks the man advantage in the OT.

Rob Blake would be a valuable asset given the right price. Does anyone think Meech might be on the trade block? We have Quincey and Ericcson ready to come up. I would say Lilija but he's also a free agent after this season so he wouldn't really hold much value for the Kings

Hudler is a second like Winger and plays with Zetterberg, he also gets second unit PP time. I'm not saying get rid of him, or that he will never score 30 goals, but to say he'll be a career 30 goal scorer is wishful thinking...he's a 20 goal a year guy. and that's not so bad for what he makes and what his role is. Maybe that's why everyone wants to get rid of him because LGWer's have raised the expectations so high. As for Cleary, he does remind me a lot of Draper or Malts in their prime and I hope that he decides to reup with us, but if we know where Dan stands before the trade deadline and it's not even close then why not trade him if we can bring in a clearcut upgrade for the playoffs???

I like the idea of Joki...he would be my second choice to Hossa, but I don't think we should give up Kronner to get him. Kronner is finally coming into his contract this season and good D is hard to come by.

Mac would be tweaking...Forsberg and Blake would be a pretty major overhall. That being said I wouldn't mind seeing them all. The price is right for Mac and Forsberg and as for blake...one can never have too many hard hitting defensemen in the post season!
