I have no problem with your thread. But for future info, when you go to forums, there is a search box. You can type in Brad Ference and see every post that has something to do with him. Generally thats the first thing I do before I post to avoid things such as this... but sometimes I am guilty of not doing that. But that's pretty much expected out of everyone who starts a thread. So even if you don't want to spend all day looking.... look. Read the forum rules. Don't get upset with me man, I haven't said anything out of spite.

1. We have your back. So even if you feel like the 'moderators' don't, you have some support here. 2. The fact of the matter is, although neither he or I are administrators, you DID start a thread that had already been started. 3. That being said, if he had said what he did in a respectful manner, I would hope you would have taken it to heart, and gone in search of the other threads. 4. My anger was with the WAY he said what he said. He was a complete jerk, and showed a lack of class and respect for a forum that I feel like prides itself on class and respect. 5. Let it go, or say what you have to say in response to him respecfully as well. You are just as guilty as him if you play his game.

Guys, I need a favor. I am a loyal Redwings fan and always will be. They are my number one team and that will never change. But I also have a dedication to the sport of hockey. Basically, I need another team to follow, as well as the Redwings. The Redwings aren't always playing, and I want to branch out of just watching Redwings games. So my question is, what team should I follow? And more importantly, why? A team in the East would be nice, so I don't have to worry about them vs. the wings as much. The Wings offer a lot, with their history, their class as an organization, their stars (Dats, Zets, Lids), and even their lives outside of hockey. Is there another organization like this? Who do you guys watch? Would I be better off just watching good matchups and games, throughout the year? I just want to be a better hockey fan and branch out a little bit, so please help me out here.

Yeah but it is just a response to the comment that Huds is too small to make it in the league. He was coming back and saying... too small? Look at this list of small players. His point isn't that Huds is an all star player, but that size CAN be overcome.

So as some of you might already know, I am seeking to expand my enjoyment of hockey. I started another thread called A Team To Follow, in hopes to learn more about hockey in following a team along with the Red Wings. My first question is, what are some ways you expand your knowledge and enjoyment of hockey, beyond the red wings? My second question is, if you had to make a list of must see games this year, what would they be and WHY? ESPN just made a list that included Ducks vs. Ottawa, Avs vs. Oilers, etc. etc. Without knowing what will develop this year, what are some must see games? Thanks!!! Hopefully this helps my persuit of developing an enjoyment for the game beyond just the Wings. Even though I will always love the wings the most.

Does anyone know where i can get an organized look at team rosters... preferrebly by position? So the vibe I am getting is.... the bolts, penguins, capitals, leafs, and ragers are all great teams to watch?

Rarely televised.... as far as I've seen. I like this idea. And yes CBC comes in on Center Ice.

And the Redwings

Ha ha ha. I like that a lot.

I get center ice because all they broadcast here is Avs games and I absolutely hate the avs. Secondly, I would never root against the wings, and don't plan to. But you don't have to root against the team that you love to appreciate something good about another team. I've been watching the wings for 5 years, and know a lot of facts about hockey, but the fact of the matter is I don't get to experience any other part of the game. I've tried just picking up random games before, but when you don't completely know the team, and don't completely know the players..... you tend not to care. If I had my heart invested, at least somewhat in... say another team, or a team in the east. I feel like I would experience the game of hockey so much more. I feel like I would be able to get satisfaction out of hockey as opposed to just getting satisfaction out of one team. Thoughts?

That's a quality idea, save a few issues. You can't watch them on tv, and I am a poor college student.... so I would be able to see some games yes, but I would not be able to follow the team very well. That and I am a U of M fan. But advice taken, I usually go to a few games, and would love to do that this year as well.
