I liked your answer, thank you. But I guess my biggest reason for saying what I did is that Hasek will probably in back to back nights in the playoffs... right? I just feel like it is bad preperation, unless Ozzie is going to take those second games in the playoffs too...

What is babs going to do when the playoffs start? I don't mind it, but this just doesn't make sense to me...

See here is my problem... I live in Colorado, and always went against the grain, that is how I became a Red Wings fan (other than the fact that my family lives in Michigan). I have become an avid hockey fan and love the sport all around but the Red Wings are the team that got me to love hockey. Ever since I haven't found a way to be a fan for another team. I want to be though. I want to have another team to root for so that the Wings aren't all I have, and I want to know the players and be excited for the team. So if when you are describing your favorite teams if you could go a little in depth to help me find a team to root for that would be awesome, thanks!!! (Sorry this was so long)

I don't understand why keeping Ozzie and signing a goaltender isn't a possibility. I think Hasek's future depends on our sucess. In fact I remember him saying something about this.

Knowing that everyone will disagree with me on this, I think it would be good to face San Jose in the first round. I don't want a team even remotely easy to beat, because then I feel like we'll develop bad habits for the second round. If we can beat San Jose we can take it all.

This is just a random question but i didn't want to start a new threat for it.... wasn't Chris Osgood getting a Hasek like helmit because the league disallowed the type of helmit he is wearing. I thought Mickey and Ken said he just needed to get it repainted and then he'd have it... what happened with this? Does anyone know?

Has anyone noticed that Brett Hull and that guy who sits to his left always disagree and argue about everything? That guy doesn't seem to like him much. Does anyone know anything about Ozzie's helmit?

His groin got hurt because of his pads.... he did NOT get hit in the olympics or even have a chance to leave his net. I outright disagree. I don't think his groin injury has anything to do with hiim being over mobile...

I have a quick question.... didn't they say something about how the league was forcing Ozzie to get a Hasek like helmit for safety reasons? And then I heard something about, he had it but the coloring was wrong on it.... what ever happened to that?

I'm going to have to agree.. I think it has more to do with teams trying to play the wings physical or take liberties on our players, especially close to the playoffs. Remember the Calgary game last year where Dats and Zetts were just getting bashed around out there, crosschecked and stuff. Dats ended up getting hurt in that game.

So apparently Holland almost had Calder, Bertuzzi and Nolan.... I can't imagine how far we would have gone with that. Sheesh.
