Any team could use a player with passion like his. Plus his style of Hockey is rare on this Wings team. I'll take him as long as he's around.

Alright, alright I have the solution to all of our problems. We don't need to trade away picks to get that gritty player we have all been looking for. We don't need to sacrifice scoring for a gritty winger. We can pick up a guy who will solve all of our goaltending needs of the future, grit, speed, forechecking, pk, pp, and scoring needs. It's simple: Steve Thomas.

Dude I'm from Colorado too. And I can tell you that you're overreacting. Some of your points aren't well thought out. Yes sometimes teams avoid trades with division rivals, but you should know, being from Colorado that it does happen. Look at every Calgary-Colorado trade. They happen ALL the time. Tanguay, Yelle, Reinprecht. It happens.

I think what they mean is the visors that players are wearing now-adays on the golf course.... You will see a lot of these in Philly, for example...

It just sucks though how the new NHL can affect players. Remember when Hatcher originally coming here had so much promise. Now it seems like risky business...

Althought if he does have to have surgery it might hinder the first month or two of play, I hope that getting the problem solved will result in an even better HZ!

Although I am a complete hypocrit for saying this: Sometimes all of this speculation and rumours are a crutch for the impatient. But I do agree sometimes it is fun to dream and scheme and wonder. But in the end, we're all going to feel silly when something actually happens. Lets just wait and see.
