Against who? I'm pretty sure that Turco is something like 2-7 against Detroit in his career, and has never won at the Joe. Turco isn't even close to being an elite goalie; I'm not saying that Osgood is, but he's better than that choke artist.

I disagree. Every single post there was about how Detroit paid off the refs, how the NHL wanted Detroit to win, how dirty Kronwall/Zetterberg are, how much the refs hate the avs, and how over-rated the Wings are. In addition to that, the mods were like dictators. They did something so that if someone typed in the word "Octopus," it would appear as "Detroit sucks." They would also suspend anyone that had anyone that dared to debate the almighty mods. This site is so much better, yet another aspect of life that Detroit fans are superior.

The truth is that if the Avs would have even made this series competitive, the trolls would have been all over the place. What else were they going to say? I still hate them, just as they hate us.

I was just watching the begninning of game 4 against the Avs on the replay this morning, and the announcers said something interesting.. "The acquisition of Brad Stuart at the deadline gives Detroit two shutdown pairs.." It's no secret that Detroit's defense has been outstanding so far in the playoffs, are the people that were up-in-arms about not going after that huge power forward (or Floppa) still mad? Looks like Holland has done it again.

Just a personal thought here.. There are HOW MANY members of this forum? How many of us are pissed off about Bettman's latest escapade? We can either piss and moan around this site, which will never reach the NHL, or voice our displeasure right to the league. I already called.

Mike Ilitch has more than enough money to pay a $10k fine at least once per game to let Al twirl an octopi over his head to get the crowd going...I think it would be well worth it in the long run. Thoughts?
