I love Avery. I'm not saying that Avery is a classy guy, but Brodeur has also proven that he is not very classy with his off-ice incidents. Marty should have just accepted the fact that he got PWND, shook Avers' hand, and move on. SEE YA, MARTY!

Then if you haven't been to a game, shut the hell up and stop complaining about a "lame crowd." Game 2 was loud, if you were there, you would know that. If you want to make it louder, then how about buying a ticket and bringing a hand clapper of your own. I love the fact that someone would call out other fans while they're contributing to the proposed problem that they've decided to create a thread about.

to your opinion of Maj. I'm all about getting on the other team's goalie..Especially when he's a rookie, and probably scared as all hell. Maj, what can we do to make Ellis feel more comfortable? Perhaps a hot towel, maybe a massage between periods?

No, it won't. I think you need to go to sleep. There was no malice involved in that play, just bad timing. If the NHL followed that logic, there would be 1-3 suspensions per game, every night. It was a good, hard, hit; timing was off, though. No intent to injure/maim/kill. End of story.

So you just said that you didn't think it was intentional. What in the HELL would be be suspended if there wasn't malice/intent to injure? No way the NHL will even give this one a second look.

It's not so much the fact that it's 1-1 that scares me, its that the officials have completely gone away from "calling it like a regular season game."

I really don't get it. WHY wouldn't they have Toronto and Detroit play at the Big House?! Nobody wants to see an original six outdoor game or anything..
