Disagree. What's a more effective use of those 20-something minutes, assuming he'd even be able to play that much; A fresh Helm/Fil buzzing around out there, or Datsyuk at 75%? You can't play them all 14-25 mins per game. The minutes are going to be taken away from the guys that ARE healthy and contributing. If he's not ready, leave him out.

With the amount of games Dats has missed already, it's obvious that he's hurt pretty bad. I wouldn't be surprised if he misses the rest of the finals.

Did you call him Applicator? We've heard this topic every year for the past 5 years. Karsch and Anderson suck, are the most unoriginal show on the air, and were the ones trying to strike fear into the masses before the series. God I miss WDFN.

Screw Cherry. I'm glad that Helm got some props, but the guy is an old loon. If Kronwall was Canadian, Cherry would show a compilation of his hits, too.

The Wings are the defending champs and added Hossa, a more prevalent Helm, and Ericsson. What does that make us? Don't worry, this will be a short one.

I went last year during the finals for a weekend game, and the place was a zoo with all of the Wings fans + Pens fans that traveled up for the games. There was also a Tigers game going on, so that just added to it, but it was mostly the hockey crowd. I'd say get there a couple of hours early for sure if you want a seat.

I couldn't disagree with you more. His skill level has always been there; whether it's at even strength, on the PK, or PP. The guy has skill, you could never deny that. It was his point production numbers that were the issue.

This guy falls 1, 2, 7 times on any given shift. He gets the puck, skates up the boards, gets touched with a stick; he falls. He gets bumped by an opposing player; falls. He gets off of the bench and starts skating; falls. I don't think I've ever seen someone spend so much time on the ice (no, literally, laying on the ice) in my life. Maybe they should fill his skates up with some cement and make him like one of those punching bags that always bounces back up no matter how many times you knock it down..

The same way they said they would last year. Duh.
