He's been very effective since he stopped playing like a little girl.
-
Thank you. Another body that will go in there and hit the ducks. a-ok with me!
-
Do you have to drop an "F-bomb" in every thread that you post in, goonie?
-
Don't forget that Detroit did the same thing with Lang a few years ago...
-
So? Bench him and play Hudler (who is healthy).
-
I'm sure Lang would have something to say about that...At least Calder doesn't cough the puck up. On a serious note, Calder has to be injured- I'm all in favor of playing Kopecky though.
-
Ticket prices are ridiculous. That's why 2,500 season ticket holders opted out of their playoff seats. Sucks when you lose support of the people that support you, ILITCH!
-
What does that have to do with anything? I remember the Wings outplaying a certain team in 2003 and getting swept. A goal is a goal- why have rules if they aren't followed?
-
kopecky took the pregame skate tonight
-
You said you'd be back? Who are you??
-
Cherry was talking more about how it is stupid to have players mic'd up, and for versus to air that comment.
-
Babs: "Andreas! I told you, NO farting on the bench god dammit! TIME OUT!!!" Paul Boyer: "Ewww, that's just filthy" Lilja to himself: "I think I sharted"
-
Oh man, thanks for posting that! I was at the game, so I didn't get to hear it live...I'm still laughing so hard. "You're gonna get it too." haha what a TOOL.
-
I'm glad this article came out when it did. No doubt that it's hanging in the Wings locker room, and probably in Hasek's locker too :0)

We're not underdogs anymore (according to America)

Hey Idaho, U DA HO! -
I'd be very surprised if he went back there- just from the standpoint of self-pride. I'd rather have Bertuzzi. If you're talking about sheer dominance, there are few players that can match him.
-
Who cares if people on this message board are cocky? I know that the Wings aren't going to be, so I could care less.
-
Cool stats in this thread. You definitely could tell the difference between Hasek and Manny/Cujo watching him last night- he made some saves that the other two probably wouldn't have..saves, that if they were goals, would have deflated the Wings. GO DOM!
-
I used to be a Lang supporter, but I just can't do it anymore. He COULD have tied the game, who knows what could have happened IF he actually got a shot off late in the 3rd. Instead, just like his "breakaway" in game 2, he reverted to the pace of a snail and botched any chance of success. BENCH HIM, PLEASE!

Was Whitney a 1st line go-to-guy when he was in Detroit? Sorry, Chelios was not "leading his team in scoring" with 34 and 42 pts the 2 years prior to Detroit getting him...Also wasn't an "SOB" fighter. Why don't you just go back to his early years, because we both know it's fair to compare a 20 year old to a 45 year old! Yet another flawed argument by you. I've actually grown quite bored with your baseless and inaccurate accounts of the Red Wings, and NHL history in your last post, so this will be my last response to you. Enjoy your crusades while the rest of us watch from afar, in the real world.
-
Don't try using logic to argue with a homer, it never works.
-
Um. Lang was a leading scorer before he came to Detroit- Maybe THAT IS WH people expect something from him. The talent is there, the effort is not. You're so cute...you and your blind support for a no-effort has-been.
-
Yeah, because everybody has been a lump on a log all playoffs long. Lang sucked just as bad in game 1 and 2 as he does now. The same can't be said for the rest of the team.
-
Of course it is a "moot point IYO," anything that doesn't concur with your blind defending of Lang is. You're right, the same can be said about Hasek for not attending practice, but Hasek has performed well this year- he hasn't been a constant thorn in the side of productivity like Lang has...but hey, what do we (all of the posters on this thread) know?
-
It's a good thing that he skipped that optional practice, wouldn't want him wearing himself out for gametime!
