I would strongly disagree with you there. Illitch is a great owner and has done a lot of great things for this city. However, in the new NHL, and the terrible economic state of Detroit (and Michigan as a whole), prices should be adjusted.

Well, 2500 season ticket holders opted out of playoffs this season. The season ticket waiting list has gone from nearly 10 years to 3-5 years...Without season ticketholders, Illitch will get the point.

During Coach's Corner, Cherry showed video footage of Neil during warmup skating by Pens players and chirping at them- including M.A. Fleury...He goes on to say that if any team had a team full of Neils, they would "win every game"...He then goes on to praise Neil for running over Crosby on the Roberts goal (even though he completely missed the goal scorer in front of the net) and how great of a job it was. NEIL COST HIS TEAM A GOAL FOR RUNNING CROSBY!!! Great job, Chris!

No. I don't know who it was, but there was already a man on Crosby. Neil came back to level him, leaving Roberts all alone in front- it was blown coverage that resulted in a goal.

Did anyone else see what this looney old man said about Datsyuk during Coaches Corner? He showed footage of Stevie diving in the way of shots, saying how that's the way it should be (no argument here)...but then he shows a shot of Datsyuk squaring up to a shooter covering his face with one glove and his junk with the other..then made a remark about how there's nothing down there to protect anyway...MacLean then went on to say something about Datsyuk being scared of "a boy named Susan" and they whined about his new contract. Funny how they didn't mention anything about having 2 pts in game 1.

It seems that a lot of opposing players/calgary (and national) media members are taking every chance to trash Hasek....Is this really the guy that you want to give any kind of fuel to? I'm loving this- Hasek thrives on big pressure situations; not sure that I'd want to give him any extra motivation going into the playoffs..

Every team does not have announcers like Nashville. Of course there is going to be some type of home team bias, but the Predators announcers even cal the Preds "we"- it's very unprofessional and I avoid them on NHL Center Ice at all costs.

Because you have to pay another $5k if you want playoff tickets! They don't just give them to you free- $5,000 is a lot of money. This is the last year that I will be getting my season tickets, the pricing is just absurd.
