I think Hull is just trying to act like he's still "in" with former players, and is some kind of great source on what's going on with them. However, I don't think this is the case- reminds me of when some of the Wings just walked right by him when he was standing outside of their locker room during "Brett Hull Night" in STL..Granted, it was guys like Markov and Hudler, people that didn't play with him, but still sort of odd that they'd walk right by him and not shake his hand. -
You will be able to find a ticket- you can actually probably go to ticketmaster.com and buy one now...If the Wings (God forbid) don't make it to the second round, you can get a refund. Ebay is also an option. Good luck!

In the 2nd INT today, Clement asked Hull what was wrong with his crystal ball last week- Hull: "For that much money, I'd even play for Keenan again" What a tool, he's trying to cover himself and make it sound like the Wings had to bribe Datsyuk into staying against his will with $$$ -

Well, when you have to shell out another $5000 for playoffs, all of a sudden it isn't so strange. This is the last year that I'm keeping my tickets, it's just too expensive- especially when you can just go on ticketmaster and buy the ones that you want.

These guys are really annoying. I thought that Thorne and Clement were bad, but the broadcast booth sounds like a bunch of frat guys that drink nothing but hater-ade, they trash everyone and just sound very un-professional. There is very little actual "analysis", and way too much banter/opinions from these guys.

Maybe that would explain why half of the Wings walked right by him on the way out of the lockeroom on Brett Hull night. I'm pretty sure that I'd take Sammy in a cage match against Hull.

Oh, I'm not saying that it wasn't entertaining at times- the "perv" remark was hilarious- but it just seemed like the whole broadcast was a forum for Hull and the others to state their opinions (whether accurate or not), rather than to cover a game. That was my biggest beef. There were times where there would be no play by play for a minute or two!

Baseball is America's pastime- of course there are more Tigers fans here than Red Wings fans...but I would argue that hockey die hards > most baseball fans. HOWEVER- Even though the Lions blow, Detroit IS a football town above all else- fans live and die, mostly die, with this team every single year. This place would go BONKERS if the Lions ever broke the .500 mark (or got to the .500 mark)

Yeah, and he's -9 career; that number would be even worse if he weren't sitting in the box every other minute. The only role that he will ever play in the NHL is the one that he is currently in- an agitator. As for Legionnaire's "suspension list", the guy has only played 165 games- so he's essentially played two full seasons (amount of games), and has been suspended once..great start. Hopefully the instigator rule goes away- if it does, Tootoo will follow.

Yes, but why should players like Iginla (if deemed a "fighter") have to wear padding under his gloves and sacrifice performance/comfort just because Fedoruk's face is an NHL regulation punching bag?
