No, but I do remember being very drunk one night, and setting a bunch of Avs cards on fire. I burned up Forsberg, Foote, Roy, and Hejduk, if I remember correctly. I just think it's a bit douchey to bag on kids who get upset when their heroes get sent packing. If you were talking about a grown man, absolutely, tear his ass down. But this was a kid.

Yeah, what a schmuck, getting emotionally involved in a hockey team. What is he thinking. It's only a game, and only the end of the season for his team. Wings fans never get upset when the Wings lose.

Well, I will officially call it a season now. The Bruins were the only team left that I had any interest in paying attention to. I hate each and every team left, so the Cup this year is a disaster regardless. At least the Texas Stars are still playing in the Calder Cup playoffs. Game 1 tonight in Hamilton. 2-2 tie in the 3rd.

No, no, Ovie's a dick. He ruined that kid's life, and then refused to sign a Canadian flag (?!) because noone had a pen. What an ass. Crosby would never do that. Crosby actually had a sharpie implanted in his hand so he'd never be without something to sign autographs with, because that's what classy players do.

I don't see where this would be a problem. His pregame routine is nothing like shooting a bunch of pucks at the wall. It's skating to the bench, stopping, then going into the bench. There just so happened to be a kid there this time. This is such a non-story. If anyone else in the league did this, it'd be exactly the same.

When did it become classless to perform your pregame ritual, the same as you do every night? Hockey players are superstitious, everyone knows this.

Keeping to his routine sure seems to have helped him last night. If it *had* been Crosby, and that was his ritual at every game, he'd get a pass just like Ovie should.

The goaltender has to be there to bail the D out when they screw up. I don't remember how many times I read that after the few games Ozzie played in this season.
