This has been discussed multiple times. Columbus is further east than Detroit, so if anyone moved it would be them. Plus, the Wings are the jewel of the Western Conference. There's no way a move to the East would ever be approved by the Western teams. They all jack up the prices for Wings games, due to the Wings support, and would lose a ton of money.

They did that at the Stars/Wings game the other night. They played an organ version of Seven Nation Army, i think. Was pretty funny.

I really think it would be nice, and the right thing to do. But, I won't fault the kid if he doesn't send it to the guy. Hell, the guy should have known something was wrong to be able to buy a game used stick for $100 in the bathroom. I really hope they do catch the "security guard" and let the kid beat him with the stick.

I have been to one of their games too, down in Corpus. Was able to buy glass seats from a scalper for $12 each. They used to be rivals for our Austin Ice Bats before the Bats got booted out of town by the Dallas Stars AA team coming this year. These games are always fun to go to. Never saw any brawling that compares to this though, and I went to Bats games all the time.

I was at the game last night, and there was a brutal Dallas turnover in the 1st I think, and I got excited, until I saw that it was the 4th line out, and Kopecky had the puck. I turned to my casual Stars fan brother, and told him not to worry because there was no scoring threat on the ice. Sure enough, turnover happened, and Dallas escaped. Our 4th line is BRUTAL, there is no way around it. Drapes and Malts are just not getting it done, and I think Kopay got derailed by that broken leg. I still like him though, and hope he can get back on track. I yelled out to him during the game "Kopper, you're useless, but I love you anyway." I guess I like the underdogs. However, as long as there is a chance we can resign Hossa, no way is Kopay going anywhere.

Did anyone else notice that the guy who bought the stick is wanting to "trade" it back to the kid for the one the team sent him? The bottom line, however is that Henrick gave that stick to Kalan not me. Maybe he would like to trade his new stick for an Official Game Used Winter Classic Stick. But if not, that's OK! So, trade me, or keep the one he got from the team? Why not just give the kid his stick back. If the kid wants to give you the one from the team, great. Otherwise, buzz off. You committed a misdemeanor (i think) in accepting stolen property.

That is the coolest thing I think ever. Serves that guy right. You don't heckle injured players. EDIT: Also, I am glad Sully is back, and at least one Pred fan I know will be happy to have a familiar name on the roster again.

They usually say it's an honor, and most first timers will always go, barring injury. But judging by the players themselves there, they don't really seem to care much, which is why not alot of effort is actually put into the ASG. That, and they really don't want to get hurt in a meaningless game.

Ah the good ole 50-50. I was shocked that that was legal at work up there, since here in the states, you'd most likely be fired for gambling. Must be awesome to be the winner. Most I ever saw someone win was $2000.

C'mon. Everyone knows that Kopecky is the linchpin to the whole team, and the best player on the ice. Kopecky is just biding his time until the playoffs, when he'll turn into a Franzenian monster. Then everyone will be like "Pavel who?"

You're right. What a bunch of jerks the NHL are. You can go ahead and stop watching now, as can the rest of Canada. What's that? You love the sport regardless? I guess *that's* why the NHL doesn't feel the need to market to Canada more than it already does.
